Gray's Bakery
This place looks inviting from the outside and it was warm and comfortable inside with lots of seating and some comfy chairs next to the window. I ordered a strong cafe late which came as the typical Australian ‘Flat White’ and was far too hot by his scalded the milk and left me with a bitter tongue well after the experience.

A bunch of our family met up here for lunch & drinks before heading off to an appt, always tasty & great service. Love the new seating out front. I feel a ticketing option would be great here, especially when choosing a drink you feel like people will jump in your spot...

Asked for chicken curry pie was given plain chicken that was too hot, dry and bland. After 2 bites swapped it with the happy staff member (not) and after 2 bites threw the curry pie in the bin...dry tasteless and too hot. Given the massive queue in there I can only guess there's no competition in Kerang? Son said the wrap he had was ok. Won't be back and hope that a decent pie shop opens in the area soon.

Passing through Kerang we stopped for a late lunch at Gray’s Bakery. I had one of their homemade plain pies, which was just excellent. Apparently, from what we were told, the making of the pies is a bit of a family tradition. The bakery also sells all the traditional fare you would expect. There is ample seating outside and in. They are also open seven days. The staff were friendly and efficient and we would return here next time we were in town. Well done!

Got a pie a couple of months back & it was to dry.I advised that the oven needs to be turnt down.Went back today & got a sausage roll i could use as a house stump.I'd recommend the owner try one.Absolutely ridiculous.I won't be back.Way below par & they do nothing about it.

Pastie was fine but curry pie was thrown after 2 mouthfulls. Party pie was stale. Coffee was excellent. Nice outdoor area thanks to council.

Don’t go in for speedy service, 10 minutes to get a pie and coke. Coffees and making sandwiches take preference here after you’re corralled in like cattle. Pies are standard, nothing special, not worth a return.

A nice place to stop if you need baked goods or a morning breakfast. The food was your standard bakery fair.
