Mary Ann Steam Train from Macalister Station
Don't be like my friend and who sat at the station for over an hour waiting for the Mary Ann which never arrived. I had looked on the internet, which said it was open today at 9am. Eventually I rang Maryborough station and was informed that it was not running at all. I was told that they did advertise the Mary Anne was under restoration. I explained,we were not from Maryborough and the internet said the train was still running but the person I spoke to didn't seem to care and certainly didn't apologize.

Excellent historic steam train running through Queens ParkRun by volunteers ,Thursdays and Sundays 9-12$5.00 per adult Children$3.00Some good souvenirs, pen , postcard ,badgesQuite exciting and a reasonable trip to both ends of ParkI would do it again and certainly suggest for visitorsRide lasted about 15 mins

A short 10 minute ride along Mary River.Nice Volunteers who run it, happy to answer questions. $5 per adult. Open Thursday and Sunday. Closes 12.30pm.
