Wonderful afternoon and BBQ lunch with class of 1949 Maffra Primary School Reunion. However BBQ's where in a very dirty state and had to be cleaned Saturday in preparation for today. A great day had by all and many memories of our childhood.

This is a fabulous park really well designed. Love the fact it isn't all plastic playground equipment but uses more environmentally friendly material. My daughter from Melbourne said it's the best playground she's seen and my 2 year old granddaughter loved it particularly the 'cows' she was feeding them grass

Beautiful and clean, nice easy walking paths with views of the river. Maffra is a nice town to visit.

This park is great for kids to play in and the BBQ area is close enough for the parents to keep an eye on the kids. Fantastic and close enough for a walk by the river.

If it wasn't for the Apex club of Maffra, no other club or community group would had the priviledge to maintain such a beautiful environment

Macalister park has some great facilities including toilets and a big natural area to explore. The parent and child seat is a lot of fun, and there are many ways to enjoy the park including the pathways, rivers, bridges, playground, artwork, grasslands and wetlands and the benches.

Great park land and walking track beside the Macalister River. I walk my dog along there. It also has a decent sized playground with sand pit. Bbq's are undercover and shire has put in new table and chairs for bbq area and also ones that are out in the open for picnic. Toilets are also there and across the road is a skate bowl.

Absolutely love this park! It has a great nature vibe, plenty of tables and fun equipment for kids.
