My daughter Sam and I attended a Cookery class yesterday to learn more about the use of Native Food Plants. It was four hours of absolute bliss. Julie not only took us on a stroll through the gardens to touch and smell and collect produce for our class, but we then set about using the product in 10 or so dishes. We made savoury, sweet and everything in between. As well as the cookery class, we learnt about the importance of selecting the right plants to use. I would highly recommend the day.

I have been to three of their Tour and Taste lunches. All scrumptious and in beautiful surroundings. I have to put in a special mention for their Aniseed Myrtle icecream. It's the most delicious I have ever tasted. Worth coming back just for that! Thanks again for a lovely lunch, Peppermint Ridge Farm.

I went to the Cooking with Native Foods course. The morning started with a tour of some of the extensive garden to harvest the foods we would cook with. Then we went to the beautifully restored schoolhouse to learn how to use these wonderful plants. Julie was exceptional, her knowledge and ability to share it in such an enthusiastic way was inspiring. The class was interactive, we were split into groups and each cooked a dish for morning tea and lunch. There was time to look over what the other groups were doing so we all learnt about all the dishes. Then we ate the delicious food. I learnt so much about the plants, about their culinary and health benefits, about how we have ignored the aboriginal knowledge refined over thousands of years that would have benefitted us so much if we had only listened. I recommend a visit to all interested in history, cooking, how to utilise plants on our doorstep and in growing their own food.I also recommend Julies book Australian Native Food Harvest" a wealth of culinary

Recently arranged for some plants to be shipped to the Hunter Valley. Julie went out of her way to arrange freight during this difficult time. Excellent and friendly service. Will be using them again.

Had a wonderful day with friends doing the tour of the native food garden & local history hall, followed by a scrumptious lunch. Our hosts were very passionate & knowledgable about native Australian food plants. This is another gem to visit, only about 1hr from Melbourne. A good place to take overseas visitors. I would highly recommend it.

An impressive native food and bush tour - a very knowledgeable Anthony dispenses with history of the first nation people and bush food in Tynong and surrounding areas while wife Julie, the master chef prepares amazing food with bush ingredients. They have a well established garden, nursery and a little museum, Cornucopia. It was like the garden of Eden and transformed to a cosy setting, the former Nanagoon North State School now being the function centre - so delightful!I learnt so much about bush tucker and what an amazing lunch!

A wonderful and uplifting experience!A real treat for the pallet and soul!A compelling celebration of Indigenous foods and plants that is an insight into how irreverent European settlement has been in regards to the sheer lack of respect of Indigenous women in particular and their wisdom and knowledge of the value of the native flora and it’s invaluable properties beneficial to our health.I honour Julie and Anthony for their dedication, energy and passion!YES I’m a fan!!!

What a wonderful experience to learn about the native plants they grow on this lovely property. Then get to taste the delicious dishes created and served in the very cute old schoolhouse.

What a treasure we have in Gippsland at Peppermint Ridge Farm! A bush setting of tranquil beauty! Our evening started with an informative walk in the bush garden, sampling teas made from native food plants. The health benefits of many of our native plants is quite astounding. Our hosts were passionate about their garden and food preparation, cheerfully answering questions, presenting dishes of amazing flavours and checking in with us about our meals. The old school house is a delight and the table set up allows for ease movement. My friend and I ordered different dishes and swapped to sample each. Our meal was inspirational and I've subsequently booked in for the cooking workshop! Thank you Julie and Anthony.
