Pink Flamingo Resort

Wonderfully relaxing surroundings and spacious rooms coloured so brightly. Nice pool with no curfew. Lots of games, books, dvds available. Only ten rooms so quite private.

This place is so gorgeous. I first walked into my villa with concrete floors and was like “eeeesh…”But everything about this place is great. The 2 managers? Best, most helpful people ever. The location with respect to the wharf/reef tours? Amazing. The bed and the shower were phenomenal, and the couch was surprisingly napable. (Loved the pool too!)My 3-night stay became 6 nights because I loved it that much. There aren’t heaps of dog-friendly options in port Douglas, so I wouldn’t even look anywhere else if I found myself back there. Straight to the Flamingo next time!

Such a fabulous, relaxing, tropical oasis. We had the best stay at the pink flamingo, all the little touches from the outdoor bath with bathsalts provided, herb garden and honesty bar, huge selection of books and DVDs, communal BBQ and laundry facilities, and the amazing tropical gardens surrounding the beautiful salt water pool.... So many things to enjoy. The grounds are very peaceful and set away from the main road, you feel like you're in your own secluded paradise and while you may bump into other guests, the size of the resort and number of areas to lounge make it feel very private and peaceful. Access to town is made easy via the communal bikes, although we tended to walk along the beach or Wharf road to enjoy the port Douglas surrounds.The staff are very friendly and helpful, but also leave you to enjoy your stay in peace. For our special getaway as a couple, the fact it was adults only meant we could enjoy tranquil mornings and lounge by the pool without competing for space.Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

What an excellent place to go with the dogs, the villa was perfectly set up with the dogs allowed inside with plenty of space for them to wander around the garden. The pool was excellent (dog free naturally). After the booking agent stuffed up they sorted the issue quickly and made it a very pleasant stay.A bunch of friendly people and dogs in the leash free area on the beach was a real bonus.

Such a little hidden gem in Port Douglas. My husband, doggo and I enjoyed this perfect spot, it felt like we were in Bali. There's a lot of privacy as you have your own beautiful garden with a massive outside bath tub. We'll definitely come back!

Lovely fun accommodation in Port Douglas.The villas have a nice big private courtyard with a hammock. The beds were comfy and the room came with lots of little touches to make our stay extra comfy, like sarongs, beach towels and bug spray. The communal area is great with a lovely pool, small bar, shady palm trees, boardgames, books and a pool table and table tennis table. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Port Douglas.It is just 20 minute walk from town, or quicker with the free bicycles at the resort or hire of beam electric scooters just down the road, or the shuttle bus. (We used the scooters as it was $25 for first use then just 4c per hour for the rest of our stay, so more economical and more fun than the shuttle - just make sure not to go more than 18 hours without using one or it resets and charges another $25 on next use).

Beautiful quiet rooms with all the amenities we needed to have a fantastic time. We were able to cook our own meals, relax by the pool and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Marley the dog was super cute! All the other guests were lovely and we felt secluded despite the central location. Having a hot bath in the pouring rain was a highlight, I haven’t been that relaxed in years!
