W. B. Simpson & Son

WB Simpson were the rental agent looking after a house my family and I were renting in Essendon. Our main contact was with Sally, their Residential Portfolio Manager. Sally was brilliant. Attentive and responsive, she made sure any rental issues were dealt with promptly and professionally.

I am really very disappointed with W. B. Simpson & sons. Once you are renting with them , they are very responsive but when you have to leave the apartment and close lease, they are very unprofessional and not helping or doing any favour to renter. I have rented with them almost 3 years and once i left my apartment they denied to refund my security bond amount mentioning i will have to release the bond amount due to damages in the apartment. Personally i have paid more than 500 AUD to cover all the damages while i was living in apartment and now they cover each wear and tear stuff as damage like blinds are not clean, one line thread issue in the carpet, benches have sketch marks and other minor issues. I paid 650 AUD for cleaning of the apartment as well and cleaner was suggested by them but still they are not satisfied. I would definitely not recommend to go with W. B . Simpson and Sons because there is no guarantee that you will get bond amount back. Living in the property which is old more than 5-7 years, we are not liable for the replacements of mats and blinds and should not bear all the costs as well. Be careful before you choose to go with them for renting. Take each and every small pics of the scratches even. They call it as damage.But i would really appreciate my old property managers Sally and Candice who always helped me in every way while i was staying there. Unfortunately they are not managing my property now and that's the reason i am facing issues.

I've been renting from W B Simpson & Son for almost five years... Sally Priestly, my property manger, has been a delight to deal with throughout this time. Any little issues with the property were always addressed ASAP... and awesome communication whenever things needing doing on the property. Absolutely recommend Sally and the team!

I always remember your great care and timely communication in the time of need. Sally has managed my property for many years now. During which time she has been consistently reliable and professional and on top of things. (In fact the best property manager I have had.) Recently dealt with demanding tenants with great tact and aplomb and kept everybody happy. Highly recommended.
