A very professional and excellently run dojo. From the first class Sensei’s to the large mat area, gym and outstanding facilities. Members are very friendly with a great community feel. Great way to get the kids active and build their confidence at the same time.

I love the community that builds around these classes. No matter what level or experience you come in the coaches are great at engaging and challenging every person. I never would have anticipated the improvement I have seen in myself just through attending these classes. I would encourage anyone looking for a fun, fitness based activity to come in and give it a go!

My son is really enjoying Newcastle Karate. The trial sessions were a great opportunity to see if he liked it and now he goes 3 days a week. He loves training, sparring, learning new skills and developing his technique. The senseis are welcoming and supportive, and he would go everyday if he could :)

Originally came to Newcastle Karate just to watch the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu class. Have now been training here for 3 months and have learned a lot from the coaches and also the students. Very welcoming to beginners and training at this dojo has helped improve my fitness, confidence and my overall martial art abilities. Highly recommend.

Started my BJJ journey here almost two months ago and love every minute of it! The professional coaches and students have welcomed me into the club with open arms, then next minute I'm learning that's because they want to submit me. I recently wrote to Sensei Mark and his team to thank them for how they teach, help and assist my twin grandsons who have a disability. I was very impressed with Sensei Mark and his team because they teach in such an inclusive way, make adaptions for my grandsons disabilities and help them to maximize their abilities. What impresses me most about Sensei Mark and team is their ability to reach out to everyone and present this Dojo as a place of learning and personal growth. A warm place to be!
