Frank Health Insurance

Surprise to see others rating frank really low, I have had pretty good experience with Frank.I joined couple years on top hospital cover mainly to cover delivery cost, whilst preganancy management fee is out of pocket which I was aware of by my obstritian (I believe some insurers do cover preganancy management fee) , frank covered all hospital stay cost for delivery at a private hospital. I have contacted frank both through phone and webchat and found most operators very helpful and professional.

FRANK. Today while I waited and waited and waited to speak with someone at FRANK I decided to write a review. After all plenty of time while I wait. Don't expect to speak with anyone in a hurry or during a lunch break. If you want to change your payment details you actually CANT take your bank card details off! Once your children turn 21 FRANK are not negotiable on a family membership. FRANKLY not an option to join this insurance company but thanks for giving me plenty of time to write up this review.

I was impressed with Frank when I joined years ago, I think they went super downhill since COVID. I left Frank for a new provider 6 months ago and they have started charging me random amounts every month. I've tried to contact them to refund on many ocassions with no luck yet. Beware, and check your charges from them are legitimate.

Not happy they took my daughter off a few days after turning 21 despite that she is still in Uni. Health. Com had my other daughter until she was 23, all they needed was her student number and the Uni she was in to confirm. I also paid a lot out of pocket for opticals even though I have top cover Extras. Time to move on.

Completely agree with others reviews. Even after having TOP hospital AND extras, had to pay $5000 plus for medically necessary rhinoplasty/ deviated septum in order for my daughter to be able to breathe properly and relieve sinus pain. Franks judgement?? Apparently it’s not medically necessary to be able to breathe properly through one’s nose. DO NOT JOIN FRANK!! Run away as fast as you can!! (Pity it’s not possible to give zero stars)

Frank Health Insurance has been ignoring my emails for weeks. I was owed hundreds of dollars from them after getting braces and cleans done and had prepared the estimate online. when I sent the payments through to them hoping they would assist me to get all the money i could, they only refunded me 100 dollars and dismissed all payments from July to October. They took weeks to process this 100 dollars, while ignoring my emails trying to resolve the issue. I have nothing but bad experiences since i merged with this fund. I could not log on and access my tax statements for months after the merge and they basically told me too bad. you will be wasting your money insuring through Frank Health. Do not do it! find a more reputable service provider, who actually has staff that know how to do their jobs and communicate with their paying customers.

“They kept charging for a cancelled membership for 6 months. When I called and asked them to clear it up and stop charging me, a month later they charged ANOTHER time! saying that I didn’t email them!What a Rip off! 100% would NOT recommend.”

Just another profit machine. I added my wife to the policy and there was an alteration to the cover. The details were to complicated to get any clear understanding of. I was with them for over 10 years prior to this. I was able to get a slot for an operation but it was 3 weeks before the waiting time since the policy changes. After a LONG call wait, a drop out and a call back they could do NOTHING to assist a 10+ year member. I had been denied assistance a year before that for another operation deemed urgent by the surgeon. Sadly they are ALL the same. All sociopathic greedy companies.

I have extras cover with Frank and I have been very happy with them. It’s very easy to make a claim online, and my refunds have come through quickly
