Perfectly good psychologists, Matthew Jepsen is an exceptional EMDR practitioner.The foyer and waiting area is fantastic with a calming atmosphere and inspirational TED talks to watch while you wait.The only down side is the female toilets feel like a park public restroom. Not very inviting at all and need a makeover stat! That's my reason for losing 1 star.

If I could give zero stars, I would. After having a referral sent to doctor Anand in May I called up 2 weeks ago and asked where the progress of my referral was and was told that he is very busy and that she would look into it. No response. I called yesterday saying that I was genuinely starting to get desperate. The receptionist was very helpful and said that she would get the doctor to review it today and that they would call me. I ended just getting sent a text saying ”Hi Madeleine, unfortunately Dr Anand is unable to accept your GP referral due to time constraints. Please try Dr Venkatesh at Warner's Bay, or contact your GP for further advice. Thanks, NewPsych The doctor they advised me of doesn't even practice at Warner's Bay. Thanks for wasting my time and money I spent getting a referral to you."

I first had the pleasure of meeting Tanya and her team some years back.I was battling with addiction; it wasn't an easy time for me. I found the service at NewPsych to be compassionate and very professional. It was of enormous value to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

Absolutely would not recommend. It is hard enough to work up the motivation to make that first appointment, which I did, and had 2 sessions with a psych there but trying to get an appointment after was just ridiculous. It has been a month of leaving several messages and emails asking for an appointment and no one gets back to you. Ridiculous!

Have searched for a psych that I gel with for a couple years now and finally found one at Newpsych. Can’t fault the admin team either, have never had an issue and they’re always eager to help you if you need a last minute appointment. Wait times can be long so book in advance, you can always cancel later but that advice is true of any healthcare practice.

A very well designed office space allows a very open discussion environment.

A very welcoming environment, friendly admin, a beautiful peaceful space. The staff were helpful with making an appointment as early as possible despite lockdown, and I appreciate the practical strategies provided in the sessions. Highly recommend this practice.

I've had gone to many psychologists in the past & had many bad experiences but New Psych is amazing! the layout & decor of the place is beautiful with the trees & the mini cinema but my psychologist Kate Maher is phenomenal! She's so good at her profession but even so I've been to other psychologists at new psych & theyre just as good too! I recommend New Psych to all my friends

Staff are friendly and helpful. Psychologists are nice and understanding of various mental health issues. 3 stars just because don't appreciate been told to remove my review.
