Great place for a picnic, with playgrounds, toilets and BBQ, and plenty of space for ball games. Clean and well maintained. The playground area is also good for young children if you want to keep away from the water - as it a quite a distance to the water edge, although there are other picnic spots by the water.Due to its proximity to the spillway and dam wall, this is a NO swimming area. If you want to go swimming or boating then try the Logan’s Inlet Day use area.

Nice picnic area, shady with ample picnic tables, gas BBQ facilities, toilet blocks, including 2 x playgrounds with views to dam.

A peaceful spot for a day out or picnic.Well manicured gardens and mowed grass areas.The views of the lake are beautiful and the countless undercover picnic benches make the most of the views.There are free public barbecues available for use however at times these can be left in a dirty state by other park users, so bring a barbecue cooking liner.The playground equipment offers a wide variety for kids and is in good order and kept well maintained.The biggest drawback I have is that at times other selfish park users drive their cars/utes on the grassed areas at the top of the hill over to the undercover tables without any consideration of anyone else or children playing in the area.To me, the ease this can occur is a big safety risk and should be addressed with additional bollards.

What a wonderful place!So peaceful and quiet, took a little picnic and sat by the water. You could spend all day here with all the amenities well looked after and maintained to a very high standard.

Absolutely love this place. I go here everyday before work to meditate and give thanks to mother nature for all the beauty that surrounds us. A place of peace, comfort and true beauty.

It was a beautiful day and we had our Catalyst Woman's Group together for our hike and then morning tea and games on what we found along the way of our hike. 2.5 klms walk was just fabulous. It is such a pretty place with lots of things for the children to do. Sadly, dogs were not allowed. I will be back, great for birthday party's, etc. Toilets are there. Great place.

The first Wivenhoe park on the way from Brissy. It offers a great time to spend with the family. Great landscape, clear water, plenty of clean park benches and tables. I would come back for sure!

Nice area with water and grassland. Head to the other side of the dam for an amazing sunset view

Lovely place to visit for a relaxed afternoon or evening. Not many people. Scenery dotted with trees and lake.
