Just a bad builder and nightmare experiance. Head ache after head ache. Wouldn't recommend this builder to anyone. If you plan on building go with a volume builder half the price and better quailty.Braewood and 5 points home 0/10.

Just moved into our new home, it's wonderful. Great customer service and delivers on their promises!

Stay as far away as possible. I sign contacts in Dec 16 it’s now Oct17 and I still just have a pile of dirt. Poor customer service phone calls never returned emails not answered. May 18 off to Dispute resolution as subcontracted builder is chasing money for unauthorised works he did. House is only at frame stage 18 months after contracts signed. No response from Braewood since contract was signed.

Do not use this company especially if they recommend five points building group the builder is BrettHe has not paid me for bricklaying and going by how unhappy the home owner is and how it effected to the point we’re it costed him his marriage he has also told me that he does not pay any tradies and they leave the job in bad shape. He is a frauds man and this company keep him there very doggy Buisness

completely avoid, judging by my first experience you will have nothing but never ending troubles with this mob. As a previous reviewer mentioned, they never return your calls and after queering the builder in Wallan display office in charge of the Wallan Valley estate politely and respectfully why i never got a response after making numerous calls, something triggered him which he then lost his temper and became the rudest unpleasant person i've ever met who made my wife storm out almost in tears only after meeting him for 60 seconds. he continued to be arrogant and extremely condescending towards me and wouldn't give me an appointment time so we can sit down and discuss what they have to offer which then i had no choice but to also leave. worst experience ever and i never got his name, but he needs psychological help, and im serious. just heads up..... ring the relevant council (Mitchel shire council) first before you risk dealing with them, as i did and found out that there could be some development permit expiration issues need resolving and works look at a stand still. not surprised with a cowboy running the Wallan Valley estate project.

Braewood homes was initially a good choice for us to build with as we could design our own home and they could assist with ensuring the design was right for a sloping block. That's pretty much where it ends, one they sub contract the work out that's where the problems start. Our home was sub contracted to QNV constructions, we had 3 site supervisor over the 12 month build time, the trades used were sub standard. At one point we thought the apprentices were building our homes with no supervision. We had holes in our mortar, the mortar is different shades of grey as someone was to lazy to mix sand in with the cement when they were attempting to fill the holes, the bricks were also out of alignment. The internal painting was appalling. I won't bore everyone with all the details just know the list goes on and total we had 31 defects that needed to be fixed prior to hand over and this was after we had pointed out a raft of issues half way through the build. Week 1 in our homes now and the electrics are shorting out, yesterday it was no lights in half the house, today it is no lights, tv's, kettle and the trip switch can't be turned back on at all. Word of advice ask Braewood who they are sub contracting your job to, prior to signing a contract to build with them.

Terrible customer service after they get their money for contract. Subcontract out to incompetent builders with extremely poor workmanship and management skills. Don't return phone calls or emails, palm things off and won't address issues. Glorified contract drawers. STAY AWAY.

Couldn't fault Braewood homes, really fast and accurate at getting to contract, did what they promised to do and the home is finished nicely with no problems. Really loved the custom design service so we have a design that suited us and our budget. Good job guys, happy to recommend you to anyone.

This company subcontract your home out to the WORST builders you could imagine. Brickwork not to building regulations, holes in mortar everywhere, carpentry shocking, grout in tiling varies from 3ml to 10ml wide, paintwork not completed, light switches fixed to wall BEHIND the doors! Laminate coming off kitchen cupboards after only 8 months, builder refused to replace broken window and chunk out of porcelain toilet seat prior to handover. Had to pay $400 for a bobcat to get soil pushed away from our front door just to get a Certificate of Occupancy! I thought a C of O was what we were paying for? Braewood Homes did NOTHING to help. And they keep giving this builder Five Points Construction more work! Nice one Braewood!
