ooks Prive is the upscale high end version of the Looks Salons that you will find everywhere. The higher prices are more than worth the price. It was one of those places where I got my first haircut after the covid restrictions were lifted. The staff is welcoming and the place upholds the highest standards of luxury and impeccable hygiene.

Popped in here because I screwed up my booking with another hair salon up the road and definitely have no regrets. The hairdresser doing my haircut was kind, experienced and gave really good advice about stylistic choices with my south-east asian hair - the type that grows straight out and is incredibly stubborn. It's hard to find places that know how to deal with this type of hair so it comes highly recommended!

It is my first time there and also the last time. Because I told the hairdresser to cut only one inch. However he cut more than 3 inches! I found that he trimmed again and again and finally my hair becomes very short now and the bottom is uneven.I addition, he was quite rude when combing my hair after washing and clipped my hair.He even did not give a me a look of the back of my hair over the mirror after finished.

My kids loved their hair cut. Very patient staff did wonderful job on kids hair. They give hair cut to all ages. Definetly recommend this place.

Extremely unpleasant experience. Visited this morning to get my hair cut. The barber was just rushing through everything. It only took 14 minutes for me to enter and get out of the shop, and was charged for $35. I took a shower after I got home and found the haircut was absolutely terrible.

Mostly used thinner rather than cutting hair by layer. Left and right side hair has different length. Very messy and lots of overly short hair due to the use of thinner. May be good enough for men hair, but would not recommended for lady hair cut.

Charged $120 for regrowth and the colour is nothing like a match. In response to owner saying they have no record of me being there, I had a booked appointment. My appt was 2pm 14th June 2023.

Good experience in here. Thanks for washing hair before cutting. The stylists are happy to discuss with your hair style. The price of female is from $45 but depending on your length.

The hair dresses charged me 65$ for a bad hair cut. I gave him reference picture both the front and back but he couldn’t do it and asked me 4 times if I was “happy” with my hair cut, even though I wasn’t. I feel scared to tell him what I wanted because him and the staff was aggressive.“I don’t understand what you mean, it looks exactly like the picture.” - is what the staff, after ganging up on me, said when the haircut is nothing like what I wanted. They talked to each other in Chinese and charged me extra for bang, even though they didn’t communicate that to me clearly.Overall, this was a bad experience for me. The first time I went here was good but this time is a completely disaster and I won’t be coming here again.
