$180 to dismantle an vintage m/cycle speedo and tacho and diagnose impossiblo. Then $300 to disassemble and test an ebay derived speedo, recommend full rebuild, so another $330. Fully tested speedo when finally rebuilt was very poorly damped flapped +- 10mph from real speed. Then after 800 miles it completely crashed, nil response at any speed. So more than 6/8 of 9/10th of sweet FA for $840. Don't waste your time with this 'technician'.

Great presentation of work and as likeOther people I read the reviews and took in a cluster out of a 1995 Nissan for repairs.Got a call as the trip meter was jammed and the quote was 780$ + gst. I don’t have that much spare cash so I said let’s not do the repair as I couldn’t afford it at the time.Upon pickup I paid 80$ inspection fee and was on my way.Couple of days later I went to another person who repaired it for me with new parts and labour total coming to $60.No I did not miss a 0 it was $60 so again great presentation of work I was not a fan of the massive difference in price.

After reading some of the Google Reviews, I was apprehensive about using Attspeed for my classic car, but I am glad I gave them a go. High-quality restoration and repair to my fuel/temp gauge set and my Speedometer adjustment. 100% confident to recommend Attspeed Auto Instruments. Excellent customer service, communication and workmanship. Yes, it's a little pricey - but worth every cent for the experience, Ben brings to the table. I will be back to have my other gauges restored soon.

Ben had repaired my VL Commodore cluster with a faulty fuel gauge and custom taco set up to suit a modern LS engine conversion. Top quality repairs. Will recommend to anyone doing an engine conversion. Definitely a hard trade to find these days. Well done.

Dropped my Mustang instrument cluster off to Ben the other week for full restoration and recondition of all components. Final product was absolutely flawless and couldn’t be happier with the result. Ben was upfront about what was required and the costing and had good communication throughout the whole process. Don’t expect the cheapest work, but you get what you pay for and I can’t fault a single thing with the work quality. Highly recommend Ben and his work

Recently took my 80 series Landcruiser in to get the Speedo and odometer fixed. After countless places turned me back, Ben squeezed me in late notice, diagnosed the problem, and did the repairs the same day and I drove the car home that afternoon. Ben's service and workmanship was exceptional. Top quality work by a top bloke. Ben is super friendly and great with communication, he kept me updated with the car's progress throughout the day so I could make arrangements to pick it back up. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic, the instrument cluster on my 2001 BMW Z3 had lost the digital readout and the gauges were going crazy. After searching for a replacement cluster both new and second hand I found there were none available locally or overseas. I finally found Ben after much searching who was willing to have a look at my unit and was perfectly honest with what the outcome could be. Fortunately for me he had the knowledge and skill to be able to diagnose the problem and repair the cluster. Thanks for a very professional job.

I recommend Attspeed if you want to get ripped off!! You can never confirm how much time is spent on your car, you have to rely on Ben's word. I strongly believe that Ben drastically inflates his hours work on your vehicle for personal gain. Working on cars my hole life I have a good idea of how long things take to do. It seams that being an expert in his field, he can not diagnose problems quickly!!!
