Whisky Creek

Nice place.

A beautifully serene stay in Berrima, only a couple minutes out from the town centre, and less than 15 minutes from Bowral central. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Ample storage space too. Instructions were clear. The outdoor space was special. So vast, and flat with nicely cut grass. Wildlife aplenty with rabbits and wallabies around. The only blip is on value, the price I found was too steep for what you got. But a pleasant stay nonetheless.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! We had many issues during our stay in this property:- Firstly the check in is at 4pm which means you pay full price for half a day's stay- The property was not cleaned well enough during a pandemic- We could not open any windows as there were no screens on any of the windows- They refused to give us keys to back doors that had screens so we couldn't open them either- There were no big bins outside so we had to keep the rubbish inside the house (leaving outside would invite animals to our door)- The dishwasher would not work- The toilet door would not close (!)- Noise traveled really easily between upstairs and downstairsTo top it all off they charged us heavily for 'damages' for a small stain on the carpet - we essentially paid for steam cleaning of their whole house for a small stain on the carpet!If you choose to stay here, be prepared to pay for their property maintenance costs afterwards.

Whisky Creek is a lovely place to enjoy a holiday with friends or family. It is a real treat - clean and incredibly cosy, with beautiful furniture and spaces to enjoy a break from the world.The home is very private and surrounded by gardens and bushland with wildlife galore.Despite being a beautiful bush retreat it is still only an easy stroll to Berrima’s shops, cafes and dining. Not to mention some lovely walks on the farm itself with the possibility of spotting a platypus in the river, kangaroos bouncing or a wombat waddling across the paddock.

What a truly beautify location, fully appointed home with everything you could possibly need. Located in the Country but still within a 10 minute stroll through country laneways to coffee and the historic village of Berrima. This stay has it all for guests looking to stay in comfort in the Country. We would highly recommend this stay.
