The transformation from a 1980's decor in the wet areas (bathroom, toilet, & laundry) was remarkable, bringing these areas into 2023 era. The service offered by Repair for Sale was totally professional. David was always cheerful with a pleasant demeanour and was prepared to work with clients' timeframes. He offered extremely useful suggestions and followed clients' instructions. He made a point of communicating what was happening and what the next step would be.Services included interior and exterior painting, repair of masonry and rebuilding and repair of window frames. The preparation for everything, particularly painting, was extensive and thorough, suggestions re colour etc were appropriate and the end result was stunning.We are delighted with the end result and absolutely recommend Repair for Sale.

Just had my house repaired and painted for sale with this builder David Long. He and his workers were reliable and punctual and polite. He kept me updated on the progress, and made suggestions on what would look good or work better within my budget. I was on a tight timeline, and they even came in on weekends to get the work finished. Good tidy up afterwards. My faith in the building industry has been restored.

David is a multi skilled craftsman who has a great eye for what is required to turn your property around. The work he did to my property inside and out transformed it into something I never imagined. His kitchen and bathroom rejuvenation work is quite remarkable.

David Long provided an excellent pre examination of the property. He was contracted by my Principal agent and provides for sale renovations on an ongoing basis.The process from inspection, suggestions, quoting and follow up modifications was done in a professional, easy to follow, detailed and helpful way. Price I believe was consistent with the quality finish. There’s no doubt that the following resultant sale was influenced accordingly both in interest shown by prospective purchasers and in the final return.This was quite a lot higher than expected even by the agent. A productivity bonus was in place tied into the expected increased financial gain from the renovation.David made gentle suggestions to both enhance the sale based on his knowledge as a qualified agent himself whilst keeping the price down a bit in the process. This saving was able to be further utilised in a later noticed bathroom repair.I would highly recommend this service for any vendor looking to enhance a sale in a glowingly difficult climate to predict.

David did a tremendous job turning around an almost unsalable unit into an as new looking property. He takes pride in his workmanship and through careful sourcing of second hand fittings and fixtures and his ability to repair and restore, he is able to provide a very cost effective solution. I am more than happy to highly recommend David’s services.His services included preparing and painting the outside of my house and huge entertaining area, repairing and planing window frames; replacing a post for the entertaining area cleverly recycled from the site and replacing some damaged, inappropriate cladding on the carport.He removed sliding doors to make sure they were properly painted and even got up on the roof to do a bit of tile repointing. He repainted all interior doors and sourced, painted and installed a new front door, plus replaced all hardware for the doors.David was professional, thorough and informative during the whole process.He was cheerful, friendly and very easy to get along with working all hours to get the job done, including fixing some previously very poorly executed parts of the property, to complete improvements to my house.Best multi-skilled tradesman I’ve come across in a very long time!

David and his team are amazing. David renovated a bathroom in my house last year and just renovated a rental unit that was outdated and tired and he made it look like a miniature palace! It was sold within two weeks and was positively rated by all who viewed the unit. He is now about to renovate my laundry! Great ideas and true workmanship always.
