Dreadful products & service! Bought crosswave max 7 months ago. Worked fine til about a week ago. Called service, instructed me to push button with screwdriver whilst pulling out handle… didn’t work. Then they suggested I pack it all up & send to Victoria. No service centres in Sydney. Dodgy & cheap made products! DO NOT BUY BISSELL products! Stick with Dyson. At least they have service centres & their customer service agents are professional! I’ve also complained to the merchant.

Great carpet cleaner. TERRIBLE after sales. I bought the bissell power clean max carpet shampoo after 2 uses (and only two months of owning the product). The belt failed (I appreciate this is a non warranty item but I would have expected it to last longer.Manual was hopeless doesn’t list the replacement model number, phoned support who gave me a part number for what I needed. I ordered this 2 weeks later the belt arrives and it’s completely the wrong size. Don’t buy Bissell the cleaners are great but when a belt goes or you need support there hopeless.

Bought spot cleaner, hose broke. Decided to upgrade new version, guess what hose broke. Went for repair suddenly motor broke. Cost 50% of price to fix. Went to pick up closed before the actual closing time. Left messages noOne bothers to call back. For a large company your after sales service needs work. Never again. Looking for another brand

Awesome product but poor product quality and slow and unhelpful after sales service. I would recommend buying something more quality, Bissel seems to be higher end pricing but not high end quality. Warranty claims take up to a month in which time you lose a month of use and Warranty. Buy something better in my opinion

I purchased a big green carpet cleaning machine. Cost me a bomb and burnt out motor after very few uses.I tried to explain that there must be a fault or is this a recall because I didn't use it during covid and the machine is obviously very clean and not banged up.Would not look at it unless you pay a fee then won't repair unless you accept the quote. GrrrCustomer service non existent. No compassion no matter how you try to approach. Customer support is in overseas so that's zero support.I suggest to purchase a different brand which possibly could have a more realistic, supportive solution with just a bit of compassion for the consumer whom spent many dollars on the product they manufactured...

EDIT: Sure, as they’ve replied they finally did replace the unit. However they sent a different model out. And it was sent to an address 61km from house, despite me giving them my address a total of 5 times. Their communication is absolutely useless, do not buy a Bissell.Original review still stands: Have tried 5 times to contact Bissell directly regarding my 8 month old, barely used Edge Icon stick vac no longer turning on. Rang the phone line and navigated some of the worst customer service ever experienced before finally being told they would email me a form to fill out. That never arrived. Tried submitting a claim online, haven’t heard anything since. Even messaged their page on FB to be told that they would remind their customer service team to contact me. It’s been a week and nothing.This stick vac worked fine at the beginning but being a brand new house that I’m rarely even living in, it hasn’t had a hard life. Now it just doesn’t turn on claiming there is a blockage when there isn’t. It’s probably a simple fix but I’ll never know because their customer service as absolutely lacking. Will never purchase from Bissell again and will attempt to get their attention via consumer affairs instead.Last option is to drive to Springvale and throw the vacuum through their front window I guess.

We went yesterday to Bissell Mulgrave, we had the Bissell Crosswave and David served us. He was the most humble, honest, well mannered, amazing Sales person I have met! We will definitely be back just to be served by him! We need more Sales people like him! Rare to see such friendly and lovely people these days! I had to take the time out to give his amazing feedback! I will also be sending one with the company directly! More positive reviews need where deserved! Keep it up David from Mulgrave! OMG! 6 weeks and counting. Corresponded with 7 different staff all reading from the same clipboard. I'm now going into a loop, same questions, same response. Now being told the vendor is responsible for warranty. Not Bissell. Despite Bissell already having sent out wrong new replacement parts.UPDATE: I started this bad dream in early February. It is now May 22nd. Bissell sent postage for the return of my ProHeat 2X . Response By Audrey (28/03/2023)An Australia Post label has been organised

Do not buy from this company. We purchased 2 vacuum cleaners, both ceased to work within 6 months of purchase. 12 months later after numerous phone calls and emails to Bissell from my staff I called and requested to speak to a manager. After providing the incident number, Bissell supervisor Karen" requested I provide all of the information again - I declined. "Karen" then advised our warranties were void but they would honour a 30% discount on our next purchase - I declined and said we would not be spending any more money with this company.. No stars from us but of course you cannot post unless you give at least one star."

Our Bissell Crosswave is absolutely fantastic - a game changer for a home with small feet, paws and muddy boots.Our experience with Bissell's customer service has unfortunately been frustrating, with our warranty cover for our faulty handle taking over two months to be resolved, with staff telling us to expect our replacement part on X date, then no correspondence to let us know that the part was never going to be in the country on that date, and was only provided when we began to escalate the matter.It is wonderful to be cleaning our floors to such a high standard again, but be aware that if you find yourself with an issue it may be far more lengthy a process to reach a resolution than it should be.
