Great place to go camping.Recommend it. Great people great spot.Beautiful river to walk to.But there is 1 huge problem so probably don't go.There isn't, the place is perfect. Would just rather have it to myself lol.Great set up so go have fun.

We had a perfect stay here. When we arrived, we had a great chat with the managers who got to know us and recommended the perfect site for us. We had told them of our attempts to see platypus with no success, so they put us in a beautiful spot overlooking the river and gave great advice for spotting them - we thought this was such a “going the extra mile” gesture and were really touched. Sitting by the river with a morning coffee and the autumn colours all around was just perfect - and as a bonus we even briefly saw a platypus!! The facilities were clean and just what we needed. The whole team were so lovely and made this a memorable visit on our road trip.

Cannot recommend this campsite enough! We checked in half an hour late but they were still happy to slot us in where they could, my partner and I ended up staying for three days at $61 total for an unpowered site which is honestly the cheapest we've found around. There's unpowered and powered sites, toilets on site, and it is dog friendly as long as they remain on a leash, the staff are amazing they come around each night and offer up firewood to be used in the fire pits and are just overall lovely. It has main road access but is still secluded enough to feel like bush camping, absolutely loved it if we are ever up this way again we will return.

We just spent a week there, and the whole family loved it. The caretakers were so lovely, and they made sure we were settled nicely. Camp grounds were nice and quiet, and very well maintained. The river is a short walk down the trail, and so calming.

Great spot for a quick overnight. Went with my son, reasonable prices. Camp is divided into two by the creek. We were on the smaller side. Not a lot of facilities just toilets and a BBQ and couple of shelters. But fires allowed, grassed sites and fairly peaceful

We stayed at the Eastern Camp site (The original grounds). We found it was less busy with easier access to the river for swimming.Called last minute and they found us a spot for a large camper trailer in the Maple Tree sites. Came for 3 days ended up staying a week. Caretakers were friendly, knowledgeable and handled any issues promptly.Site allows for generators in generator hours (9-11am, 5-8pm) which is handy for charging batteries etc.Facilities are clean and functional (Flushing toilets, hand basins, rain drinking water point) No shows but we brought our own. Also 5min drive to Showgrounds for $1 hot showers.Less busy than Showgrounds. The only negative was the hoons that sometimes like to scream up the main road early in the morning. This may bother some people. We saw Goannas, Turtles, Kookaburras, possums.Water does flow through the Maple Tree Sites, was no concern for our camper trailer as off the ground. We camped with 2 adults and 3 children (5-10yo)

Amazing place to camp! Next to the river! Was able to have a fire. The caretaker was friendly and helpful, toilets are very clean. Will 100% be back here if we're in the area again

Camp grounds are reasonable, toilet facilities are clean. Caretaker was extremely rude, not pleasant at all. Office open from 10am but not manned at all. Feels like a dodgy 'off the road' camp ground. Creek very shallow, up to your shins in most parts, very rocky, not easy to walk on.Wouldn't plan to come back, a lot of other better camp grounds in the area to stay at.

Strictly no noise after 10 pm was so lovely! Also, dogs on leash are strictly monitored. There are so many beautiful flat sites to choose from. 5 minutes from cafe's servos, etc. BYO, fire wood as it is at $17 a bag. Lovely stay and hope to return!
