Stopped by at Victoria Point and on the waterfront is this small park. It's special feature is a very large fig, maybe a Morton bay or close, and a park bench looking out over the bay. Apparently named in memory of the good doctor.

Peaceful, picturesque spot away from the other public parks in the area. 1 picnic table and chairs under a large shady tree. A view out across Moreton Bay; pretty even at low tide. No public toilets nearby is why it has 4 stars.

Great quiet little beach for a lovely lunch under a big old shady Morton Bay Fig. Or a walk along the shore.Sheltered from northerly and southerly winds.Great place for kids to splash around. Very shallow for hundreds of metres out.

It's a very small grassed area with one seat under one large tree. Nice views over the bay and a small sandy beach at high tide.
