IF you only ever get one suit in your life, make sure it is an Adriano Carbone.For the past seven years Adriano has been making my suits and for the past seven years every single suit has been made immaculately. He is not just an amazing tailor but also a great teacher and a valued friend. The knowledge I have gained from our casual conversations together has help me in deepening my appreciation for fine tailoring and the amount of handiwork that goes on behind the making of a suit. Adriano loves to have conversations to discuss and educate those that are interested in all things sartorial, which shows just how much he truly values his craft and is ever willing to defend his work, as it is of the highest standard. His suits all have his signature A-S-S (Adriano Signature Shoulder) which gives the garment an ability to feel as if it is completely weightless, a characteristic that can't be found or copied by any other suit-maker around the world.The tailoring is superb but the customer-service is second to none.Over the past 7 years I have lost and gained weight like a yo-yo but the one constant is that Adrian is always at the ready, with his needle and thimble, to alter the suits I have made so they always fit as if it is sculpted around my body no matter how much my weight fluctuates. Maria and Adriano were extremely hospitable and personally walked me through the process providing open and transparent advice along the way. There was never any pressure to pick a certain style or design and they made the decision an easy one.I had 3 fittings and each time minor adjustments were made to suit my specific needs.I mean this when I say it but unless I go back to Adriano Carbone, I don't think I will ever own another suit as good as my wedding suit.Adriano's work is second to none and he is truly master of his trade.Highly recommend him to anyone who wants an all encompassing experience of owning a quality suit. I've been to many made to measure and bespoke suiting places but I honestly must say, nothing comes close to the level of skill and craftmanship of a Adriano Carbone garment. The high quality fabric chosen required a high quality tailor, and Carbone simply didn't disappoint. Everything was measured and carried out perfectly, with detail in every aspect of the ensemble. I wanted to look great (bc there will be pictures up for in perpetuity) as well as having a certain look.I came to Adriano bc I knew him to be the best tailor in Melbourne. Maria was more than accommodating in terms of appointments that would assure my outfit was completed in time for the wedding the second week of March. Adriano saw me on 27/12.We met and I told him I'd never had anything custom made for me and told him my ideas as to what I wanted in terms of fabric, style and fit. I was looking for a vest with a certain look and pattern with pants that flowed with a fitted shirt. I was nervous and I'm not one with a perfect body - so I was concerned about looking good.Adriano told me: we are all perfect. I'm here to make sure you look it. My job is to take all your bits and pieces and have them come together."I was at ease immediatel. I trusted Adriano from that moment.We chose beautiful fabrics. If you are looking for quality suits you must go to Adriano, please don't waste your time and money anywhere else. The first thing that attracts us is that Adriano is based in Melbourne, he does all measurements himself and gives you advice on the fabric and colour. The whole process has been very smooth for us, we picked our fabric in the store, while Adriano also take all measurements that he needed. We also picked the internal linings and details on the day. My husband had his first fitting within 3 weeks from intial appointment, we are very impressed with how perfect the jacket fits his body, every measurement was precise and we only had to made minor changes to the elbow patch. Two weeks later the suit jacket was fully completed. We walked out of the store full of smiles and satisfaction.Before we found Adriano, we placed an order with a famous Melbourne tailor, they took measurements in store and made the entire suit overseas. At initial pickup/fitting, we found that the suit was made too small, eventhough my husband lost 3kg before pick up, the jacket had excessive fabric on the shoulder where it looks quite awkward and the chino pants were uneven with its front and back. The other shop attempted to fix the suits for us however they clearly did not understand where the problems were. We were so disappointed that we spent the money on 'tailor made' suits and nothing turned out to fit. Adriano also did a very good job in fixing them for us.All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Maria is very easy to talk to, she always gives us a heads up and arrange for an appointment. We had a great time with them, and we will definitely come back for more new pieces.

What can I say about Adriano. First of all your customer experience is second to none. The time and experience you put into meeting with me and then creating my absolute masterpiece of a suit for my wedding day was absolutely amazing.I will be a customer forever and will never forget the experience for my lifetime.Keep doing you, because there is no one out there like you.Thanks Again! Adriano is hands down the best tailor you’ll find anywhere in Australia and would more than hold his own with the best Savile Row tailors or the Milan sartoria. We don’t know how lucky we are in this city to have him here. The three piece suit he cut for me looks brilliant and is as comfortable as your favourite pyjamas - no uncomfortable creases or riding up, it moves with me. Easily the best suit I have ever owned.He and his wife Maria are genuinely good people. All the work is done here (not some sweatshop offshore) and the care and attention to detail is something that is now very rare. In a world of fast fashion (which is about as good for you as fast food) Adriano is about old school craftsmanship. Yes, his skills will cost you but when you put on the final product you will understand why.
