Café Blue Bamboo, on the corner of The Esplanade and Findlay Street, is well worth that detour. Check out the tables, watch the comings and goings of the ferry, point the camera here and there and find some fine fare. I indulged - and plan to do so again, next visit to Phillip Island. Three large cappuccinos, some fruit toast and a bowl of muesli were put away on the morning visits during my current stay. (And blue is just one of the decor colours!)

Coffee a bit average but understand it's hard to get a good coffee on the Island due to the water. Maybe trained Barista was on holidays

From the moment we walked in a negative experience began, there was no meet & greet, I asked was it table service or counter order, I was told nothing can be ordered for 15 minutes, I asked if we could order drinks, was told again in loud cranky voice, nothing can be offered for 15 minutes, so we sat & shut up. Then my grandson started to cough (croup) & she said in a loud voice from behind counter, is that child okay, I explained that he was okay but had croup, I would have preferred you discreetly asked the question. With that we walked out .... hire more staff ...... requires better customer service ....

The Hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict was terrible. The egg and bacon sandwich was very salty. Overpriced for the taste of the food. $7 for a small bottle of apple juice.

Only stopped in for coffee today - will definitely be back for more in the future!!They were obviously trying to pack up & go home on a chilly Winter afternoon, but there was no problem making me a brilliant hot takeaway latte and having a quick chat!Great cafe, awesome people ❤️

An unusual eclectit cafe with the biggest Chai Latte I have seen sprinkled with chocolate. Scrumptuous food as well - banana muffin with real bananas.

Worst customer service in all of cowes. Waited 10mins outside at a table. No service. Headed inside to order only to be told no orders being taken for 10mins. Place was not full. Then 5 new diners walked in as we waited and ordered. They generally burn the milk when getting a coffee too.
