Shorter, Paint & Decor

Atrocious service , we had a quote from Blain and asked him to do the the job of painting all the inside walls and doors of our house ,50 percent of his team were good at what they did but unfortunately the other 50 percent were pathetic to say the least , a four day time frame was put on our job ,I now know it should have been 5 or 6 days , oil based paint was requested for all doors and architraves ,water based paint was used and only one coat which means it scratches when a fly lands on it , my wife was treated with a bullying display from Blain requesting full payment well before the job was completed . Do not under any circumstances use this company , two coats means one coat ,cutting in means giving the left over paint to the client for them to do properly , Blain over books himself and then gives his clients 4 th rate service , this company is a farce and needs to be shut down , this is the worst experience of a trade person in 40 years of living on the coast.

Blayne was quick to have a look and give a price. Seemed ok to deal with. However work very poor. No sanding back no filling in dents didn’t even take off door stops just painted around. Even drips down wall. Had to ask him to come back twice to fix up work. All the time asking for final payment to be made. Now we find out he is not registered. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PAINTER.
