Linfox Operational Training

I've just successfully completed my non-synchromesh HR license with LOT laverton.After having never driven a truck before, having a great instructor that is patient and eager to teach was a great help.I can now confidently drive a truck on my own and its all thanks to my instructor Wayne and the team at LOT laverton.I can not recommend them enough to be your first choice for your truck license.Thankyou for the great experience.

Thanks to everyone that was involved at Linfox Operational training in enabling me to complete my non-synchromesh HR licence in the old Freightliner Argosy. What a beast !Massive thanks to my trainer Wayne Clissold, who made the whole experience an absolute blast! Wayne’s attention to detail, pride and passion for his work really showed, and should not go unappreciated. The old Argosy was immaculate for its age inside and out, thanks to Wayne’s pride and love for trucks. (“Wayne’s mobile vehicle detailer” hahaha)Wayne’s patience and structured training methods were flawless. I came in never having driven a truck before in my life - to leaving with my HR licence and “rowing through the gears like a Rockstar” Wayne’s words. By listening to Wayne and following his advice, my first time driving a truck was surprisingly not stressful and felt like I was driving with a mate. All up he made the driving experience an absolute pleasure and great time behind the wheel!Wayne goes above and beyond the minimum requirements, even though prior to the day I researched heavy vehicles and studied the Victorian bus & truck drivers handbook, I still was able to learn a lot more beneficial information from the Chain of responsibility and Load Restraint guide.I cannot recommend the 2 day course at Linfox operational training enough, thanks again to everyone who was involved behind the scenes.Wayne, thanks again for the memorable experience, I’ll will now never forget that “mummy’s got ya” haha.

Just completed my two day HR non -syncromesh course with trainer Wayne Clissold. Over those two days I learned so much about heavy vehicle driving and chain of responsibility and load restraint. He took me everywhere around the western suburbs to help give me heaps of experience out on the road. I would recommend Wayne to anyone wanting a truck licence he is a legend!!!!!

Did a two day non-sync course with Wayne clissold, was absolutely fantastic. Helped with every step of the way and was incredibly good at calming any nerves. Was really enjoyable and would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn the safe and right way.

I did my non-Synchro HC license with the award-winning trainer Wayne and what an awesome experience it was. Wayne is easy-going and approachable which allowed me to feel comfortable driving a large vehicle. He is passionate about trucking and has a wealth of knowledge which he happily shares.The beautiful old freightliner was a joy to drive and clean as a whistle too.I highly recommend the 2 day course at linfox with Wayne.Cheers guys.

Did a 2 day HC course with Wayne and what an experience! Wayne is a professional operator with plenty of experience who presents the course in an easily digestible form. Plenty of on road tips and stories about the industry to keep you engaged and done all in a way that keeps any stress or anxiety you may have about the testing to a minimum. Wayne goes above and beyond the requirement of the course, also teaching some load restraint and chain of responsibiltity which all operators should have a grasp of before getting on the road. Would recommend anyone interested in getting a truck license to ask for Wayne at Linfox Operational Training, excellent experience.
