The team at the Pelican Waters Shopping Centre Butchers are a pleasure to deal with. They know their stuff and are always willing and able to offer advice. You may pay a bit more than you would in the supermarkets, but you get a whole lot better quality and service.

Best place to go for steak and the sausages are amazing!

Unreliable. Several weeks back I found out this butcher offered goat and had purchased it at the time. Wanting to support local business, I went there last week to get more, but they had sold out. I was advised the next delivery was early this week, I was to give them a day to cut it up. So I popped in today before midday as instructed only to be told they just sold the last 10kg. Nothing more until next week. So that is it for me, they obviously think poorly of me. Will shop at the Indian grocery store up the coast, they advised they always have stock.

The high quality of meat on offer here sets the standard by this butcher across his range combined with excellent customer service and hygiene standards. It is quite apparent that he takes pride in how he has decided to do things. The Sausages are AMAZING and don't render any fat at all. As is the same with the mince. We brought a whole lamb recently and it is tender and juicy. We also buy a lot of ham for our kids lunches and they love it. The bacon is the best I have ever tasted as is the ham. The shop itself is always immaculate and clean.I am amazed to see a recent review that reflects poorly on this business. I feel it is not factual and more a result of an online troll than actual fact. Its a shame there are people out there that go around doing that to businesses - get a life !

Such a great butcher. We love the meat here. The old school service also. Need to get the steak and the gourmet sausages. You will not be disappointed!

Tried the porterhouse from here & weren’t disappointed. Great quality steak - will be back.

Outstanding quality and great service. I have been a regular customer for over 12 months. Meat is always fresh and the service is second to none. We buy all of the range and as a Celiac, are catered for by there staff with a warm smile.This butcher is also very community minded. I know he supports several local volunteer organisations and has been at the forefront of helping those in need.Great locals and a respected members of the Pelican Waters Community. Thank you both for your outstanding work that often goes without fan fare!

Would have given no stars if I could. Do not shop here if you value your health. Yesterday’s chicken thigh fillets were the second product I’ve bought that has been rotten. These guys have serious issues with food hygiene and have no business selling raw meat products. They are dangerous and a rip off! I hope nobody gets food poisoning from your poor handling of the raw chicken you sold yesterday. As butchers you absolutely knew those thighs were on the turn.

I am just happy we live in walking distance to collect our meat. Always first class, grass fed and delicious. A large variety of interesting sausages are always available. In life you get what you pay for. Cape Grim is expensive but just beautiful meat. Russell keep doing what you are doing, forget the occasional complainer, some people make complaining their mission in life.
