It's been over a year, but I never got around to finishing this review. I was just so incredibly upset after my couples counseling session with one member of the team here that I couldn't bring myself to discuss it.After tragically loosing my son due to being born prematurity, my husband and I seemed the help of the team to discuss our loss. It was our first ever session as a couple. And it was our last! It left such an incredibly sour taste in my husband's mouth he has never wanted to see anyone else to discuss the trauma we experienced. I'm just so glad he's dealing okay with it all, no thanks to you guys.Long story short, after telling the events of our loss to the counselor, he just stared back at me slouched back in his chair and just nodded and stared at me. The silence was so incredibly uncomfortable so I brought myself to say that the session didn't feel very helpful as he wasn't offering any support or advice - he was not saying anything at all! - and he said, I don't know what to say. So we got up and walked out. And that was the end of that.I thought it would be best to leave a review should anyone else consider using this service to discuss a loss they experienced. Please seek help elsewhere. There are some amazing support centres who you can call instead. If you are wanting someone to see in person here in town, I'm saddened to say you will be incredibly disappointed.
