Lukas, Brendon and Team Bray managed our build from concept to construction. The whole experience was exceptionally managed and allowed my wife and I to enjoy the process - all during a pandemic and with a new bubba. Their team were personable, professional and facilitated “the uninitiated” easy access to renovating a home that was deliver on time and budget. We’ve had two major defects with Bray’s construction of our home both caused by Bray’s subcontractors and /or the failure of Bray to properly supervise its subcontractors. The first related to a failure of a component of the ducted heating causing substantial defects to our subfloor and hardwood timber floor. The second defect related to the failure of the waterproof membranes in both the ensuite and bathroom. After each defect, Bray was slow to accept liability for the defect and then very slow to complete the rectification works (over 12 months for the latter). Following the repairs caused by the failure of the waterproof membrane another of Bray’s subcontractors failed to connect the waste water pipe under the shower leaving water from our shower to flow into the subfloor which, we suspect, led to cracks appearing in the walls adjacent the bathroom and potentially other damage. Bray’s have completely washed their hands of this issue and have not offered to assist with rectification works.

We really can’t recommend Bray Constructions enough. We have recently completed an extension with Bray Construction. We have a brick Californian Bungalow in McKinnon which we wanted to extend in a sympathetic manner to match the front of the house. We also had somewhat of a blocked vision given we had already lived in the home for some 10 years.Lukas was so helpful from the outset, challenging some of our design elements, pointing out what would work best from both a buildability perspective and maintaining the project within our budget.After signing the Contract, the Bray team quickly mobilised and were able to start on site within 8 weeks.Throughout the whole build, the Bray team and their contractors were professional, and also respectful – given we were living in the house throughout the majority of the project.Our beautiful home was delivered on budget and slightly ahead of schedule! The end result has far surpassed my (very high) expectations and we wouldn’t change a thing about our beautiful new home or the way we went about the whole process.Thank you team Bray for making our dream a reality.

Lucas and his team did an amazing job transforming our house. It was a big job and they delivered it early and on budget. My father and my mate are both builders and both were impressed with the quality of the finish and the craftsmanship.More importantly Lucas and our site supervisor Brett were a pleasure to deal with. They genuinely care about what they were doing and often had ways to subtly improve on the architect's plan - things that make a big difference now we live in it. I would recommend Bray to anyone.

We engaged Bray Constructions to restore and extend our Spanish mission character home in Elsternwick. The project also involved a modern extension with a second storey, and external landscaping.Lukas Bray and his team provided us with a superior level of service throughout the entire duration of the project. We found Lukas Bray to be professional, pleasant, and genuine in his overall demeanour.All forms of verbal and written communication were carried out in a timely and straightforward manner. The contract estimate was indicative of actual cost, with any additional fees incurred a result of our modifications/ additions to the project.During the construction process the team were considerate of our welfare and the security of our home. They were punctual, maintained a clean worksite, and acted in a respectful manner towards each other as well as our family.Our home was completed on time and to an impeccable standard. We are delighted with the result.Since completion, the high level of service has been maintained, with any defect query or request for contractor information provided in a timely manner. Bray Constructions built my home in 2009 and I have lived there since.I love my home.Everything works…I still have light globes I haven’t had to change.Nothing has broken down, there aren’t cracks in my walls, the floors are still smooth and even and the house is very sturdy.It just all works, seamlessly.The build was smooth, easy and we enjoyed consistent communication throughout.Bray finished the house within the contract period; after, I stayed in contact with the Brays because we enjoyed such a successful relationship during and after the build.If I ever build or renovate again, it will be with the Brays.

Jill & I recently returned to Melbourne and purchased a Villa in East Brighton that required significant renovation.After a chance introduction to Nev Bray, we soon met Lukas and Donna and into the planning stage we went.
