We are so lucky that this beautiful resteraunt has opened around the corner from us. If you want beautiful authentic Italian pasta that reminds me of what my Nonna used to make, served with a friendly chat in a beautiful cosy space then this is the place for you. GRAZIE MOLTO

I don't ever write reviews but this place was too good for me not to...THIS IS THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN ADELAIDE!!If you want authentic, delicious Italian cuisine, this is the place to go. The serving size here is massive and very affordable for such high quality and delicious dishes. Every single item we ordered from the arancini balls, squid ink pasta, mussels, La porta pasta (all are definitely must tries as well!)... I could not find one thing to fault about the dishes. Massive portions for each meal and when we were completely full, we couldn't stop eating because everything was so good!! And not to forget the sticky date pudding for dessert, was absolutely spectacular, you'd be dumb not to order it; it was honestly perfect, definitely recommend!!!!In conclusion, my friends and I loved the food, atmosphere, service, basically everything. Don't walk, RUN to La porta, it's a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back.Plus the family that owns La Porta are absolutely gorgeous! <3

Couldn't recommend enough. Had the parmigiana here before that was amazing, so tried the supreme pizza and it was one of the most flavourful pizzas I've ever had. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the dough was perfectly cooked and crispy. The staff are very nice and polite and the service was perfect. Loved the experience.

The food and service was a very pleasant experience The menu is available on line Italian meals and pizzas The restaurant was completely booked out so I would book in advance for Saturday nights Great wine list and spirits are a bonus

I have started to have food delivered directly from the restaurant where possible as was frustrated with the cost of delivery services charging too much, at times 1.5 hour delivery times, and the food being cold when it arrives! Drivers often need to make 1-2 stops before my delivery. I ordered directly from the restaurant, the seafood pizza was very fresh and delicious and arrived quickly. It was great quality food.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly service, delicious food and large serves. ( having seconds for lunch today) I ring to book a table and call went to.message bank but I was called straight back! Will definitely return. Easy parking too. Still not licensed yet though.

I couldn't recommend this place more. I wish I could eat here every day. The food was fantastic, the flavours and quality of the food was excellent. Everyone on the table loved the food and the size of the food saw us having left overs the next day. The service from the staff was excellent. The chef came to the table and had pride for the food and what he served up. The waitress was amazing, I couldn't recommend her high enough. She took our orders, provide great communication on where the order was at and cleaned up the dishes at excellent timing. Even provided great conversation and food recommendation.The last item I would like to comment on is the price. The meals were very well priced for the quality and quantity that was provided. Most dishes for mains ranged from $19 to $25 and items with seafood was between $28 to $37.If you are looking for a place, this is excellent with great parking as well.
