Macleod Recreation & Fitness Centre

Really cool athletics space. We did a Kinderfun gymnastics trial here and my 4yo had a ball!There is plenty of fun equipment and it's spacious so never felt cramped.It's right by the station, and there's enough car spaces when we have been there.If you can't do lots of stairs(like with a pram) there's a ramp to the gymnastics area, but not to the dance hall at the top. There are a few rooms upstairs with equipment but the main part of the rec centre is all on the lower floor, so easily accessible.

Friendly and affordable. You don't have to sign up to a membership - just pay for casual visits and come when you want. A short 5 minute walk from Macleod train station. There are personal trainers available, classes, gymnastics, yoga, pilates, basketball, free weights, weight machines, tae kwon do and more. If only there were a pool and sauna!

Macleod Rec Centre truly is an amazing facility. The centre is well presented, clean, staff are extremely friendly and the management team truly do put the patrons best interests at heart. Highly recommend this facility for anyone wanting to take advantage of the fitness centre, basketball courts and functional training spaces .

There're lots to do here, lots of different activities to cater to the different interests of your children.

We were told on booking of party it was $20.50 per child minimum 12 maximum 15.Facility is dirty kitchen for heating up is old and most cupboards are locked.Spoked to Mcleod on Wednesday and confirmed balance was $120.On the day of the party they demanded payment for 15 children. We were happy to pay for 10 although 7 turned up. Beware!!!

The gymnastics room is huge, and quite impressive. Granted, it is literally the _only_ gymnastics room I've ever seen, but the kids clearly love it and the trainers (or coaches, as I believe they're called) are all great with kids. I haven't used the gym (as in, weight training), but it seems to be busy enough and they have decent equipment from what I can see. There's a basketball court and a ballet room as well, plus a dedicated spin room and a group fitness room (pump, aerobics ... wait ... does anyone still call it aerobics? Or does anyone even do aerobics?)The centre is a little dated, but ... one shouldn't go to a fitness centre to look at the finishings.

I've only dealt with the gymnastics team so far, but I've been really impressed with them. They communicate clearly and encourage/enforce good behaviour. The gymnastics room is in really good condition, and I'd definitely recommend them so far

Place needs an update. It's a bit scruffy but has everything. Staff are mixed from helpful to lazy. Has a basketball court that's dark and needs a sweep. Mixed use room is downright awful for ambience.

The students always enjoy coming here for their gymnastics sessions every week. Some students get upset when it's time to leave. Staff always interact with our students

not a bad little playground.visiting here with kids after we went for a little hike through the fantastic cherry st bushland reserve next door.
