Salvos Stores Kensington Gardens
Reasonable access & parking, reasonable size store & a reasonable range of clothing & goods. However, I cannot say the same for the prices, mostly high & unreasonable. The ploy of high prices because it is deemed a high disposable income area doesn't wash with me, the majority of their clientele I would suggest is not in that bracket. The staff & service was okay, but no one broke into a sweat to accommodate patrons, not that I could witness. Okay, I came, I saw, I shall not return when there are so many better & cheaper options that proliferate the suburbs. Cheers.

I usually avoid Salvos like the plague as I don’t like their believes but decided to amuse myself. I haven’t been in this store in years despite living 5 mins away. The most ugliest clothing Ie. tops (some from Kmart etc) were $8 plus dollars. Even the children’s clothes were wildly overpriced and just as expensive as the adults clothing. Disgusted that they have recently installed a fence that was no doubt funded by donations. Best to support the Save the children just up the road - lovely staff with genuine pricing

Lived up the road growing up so been coming here for 20 years and this is the first time in a year or so. Most ridiculous prices I have seen in Adelaide. Stuff isn’t even very good. Left in minutes, won’t be back. Woof!

Very expensive ie brand new valley girl top RRP $14 salvos price $12. Tops $20. Clothes out of order ie size 12 in size 16 or XL, kept coming across this. Left store after 5 mins. You need someone else to tag clothes, shoes with a fair SECOND HAND price.

Cheaper to buy brand new.I enquired about two ottomans and was advised they were $250 each. The prices are absolutely ludicrous. No one can afford to shop at an opshop anymore.

They got free stuff( donations) from good people, but staff does not do good with people who visit for buying, their price are unaffordable and fixed, they are not helping (support) the community, staff is rude when we talk about further discount on $600 ( one furniture)and $200, even I seen people to fighting for lower prices, but this staff do not care. All rubbish

After donating endless clothes, toys and books to this particular site over the years, I won’t be donating here anymore. Not even a thank you, they rudely take what you give them and walk away without a word.

Walked out today, way too expensive. $5 for a little toy car, i could get the same thing brand new for $3 at kmart. Pretty much everything here you can get brand new cheaper. If you want cheap second hand stuff you need to go to a volunteer run community op shop, i don't think I'll bother with salvos ever again. Went to the little save the children op shop down the rd and my son was able to choose a little toy car for 50 cents. Get real salvos!!

this USED to be a great op shop- now there’s nothing charitable about this store- i’ve been a regular for years and the markups on the clothes is getting embarrassing! each time i check these prices i feel like a camera from the office needs to capture my horrified face in real time!Visibly deteriorated or Kmart clothes sold at their presumed original price or more! hopefully something changes, it’s earning a reputation in the area as an assumed miss when op shopping. what’s more, i definitely will be finding another store to donate the surplus of clothes i usually do, god knows what they’d charge for them.

Wow!!My first visit to an OP Shop in Adelaide!! I have been op-shopping all over Australia since the 90s and have never come across such ridiculous prices..I literally thought I must have been looking at the more 'newer/designer rack' but unfortunately no ..All clothing racks were disgustingly overpriced.. Considering these are donated items anything is a profit. This can't be legal
