terrible experience with Brendan - accused me of not caring for my fish because i didn’t offer to leave me my home keyshad not met him - he booked us in for tuesday morning - and texted to say can’t make it due to staff shortageswhen i asked when he CAN book us in next he made all sorts of excuses then proceeded to accuse me of not leaving our keys for him ( we had a prior appointment) - and also told me he had enough customers not to need this job!!!worst customer service i’ve come across

Worst service I've ever come across! Please save you money and your fish and do not use this service.I paid $150 for a tank clean and water change and I had a bit of algae and sediment, but nothing tragic. The next day I came home to find my beloved cichlid had died. A beautiful fish I had raised for years, I found it trapped beneath some rocks, my heart was utterly broken. When I contacted the company, I was told that the fish was not stuck under the rocks, but perhaps it was an ammonia issue. Which I simply do not understand if the tank was service than the levels should have been assessed and balanced as a service requires. The management then told me that I couldn't dare say I was upset about the passing of my fish because I let the tank get dirty and therefore I obviously don't care about my fish. It is the most abhorrent thing for someone to say when their service is the reason that my pet died.Instead of being apologetic, Jonathan then proceeded to put the blame on me and said that I was abusing my fish for keeping it in a tank too small and that's probably why it died. My fish was in a fine tank, as I've spoke to many other experts and they said they would be fine for another few years, and my fish was happily swimming around prior to this service. He was grasping at straws and avoiding taking responsibility. To make matters worse, the next day I came into the room and found that my tank had leaked and flooded a large portion of my lounge area. I could not find the source of the leak and contacted them questioning this issue. They sent the servicer back out to have a look, and they claimed it was my fault for putting in an airstone. I had placed an extra airstone in the tank because noticed that my fish weren't swimming around and gasping, indicating an ammonia problem. I believe the leak to have come from my filter, which the servicer claims to have not touched, but I question that because that amount of water cannot come from a tiny bubbler air flow tube. Also, the cleaner didn't vacuum all of the sediment and when I asked about it he said the filter would pick up the rest, but days later and it looks worse now than it did before. He tested the water and said it was fine, so when I asked why my fish were gasping and died, his only answer was spike from the sediment being disturbed and because my other fish had died. As a professional service you would think they would test the water levels before leaving and ensuring the safety of the tank waters parameters. They then said they would charge me even more for them coming to have a look, but as a courtesy" they won't because of my deceased fish. Absolutely disgusting customer service

We have used Brisbane Aquarium Services to service our Aquarium for the past 2 years. We are very happy with the service and advice that we have received from Jonathan and his team. Nothing is too much trouble! They have recently assisted us with the moving & set up when we upgraded to a much larger tank. We have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone who requires a professional, reliable & knowledgeable service.

Brisbane Aquarium Services (BAS) is by far the most outstanding, professional and reliable aquarium company in QLD. Our aquarium landscape, plants and fish were all put together in a system that everyone who sees it just can't say enough about how great the aquarium looks. You can go to others and pay less, but this is the right company if you want to create or maintain your current aquarium at peak performance. I highly recommend you use BAS to ensure a consistent, healthy and vibrant show aquarium in your business or home. I am a happy client.
