Great variety of treats but didn't encounter the friendly service that other reviewers mentioned. The store was unfortunately out of freeze dried chicken necks during my visit, and the chicken crumble was too pricey at AUD25 for an 80g packet.As I was packing these for a flight out of Melbourne, I enquired if there was a way to better seal their chews, perhaps with an airtight packaging, and I was met with a puzzled frown and short negative response. Would be great if they offer a wrap style of packaging instead of small paper bags so that larger chews can be better packed to go.Picked out their smaller items instead like their fish skin twists and an elephant fish cartilage, as well as a pack of dried chicken necks. Their store concept and variety are great but in-store shopping experience could be improved.

My dog loves the Pet Grocer, always heads right in for a treat. The stinky elephant fish bones and mackerel are his current faves as he has fewer and fewer teeth over time. It's not cheap so for spoilt dogs only!

Ever since we got our puppy home, we have been feeding her raw food from the Pet Grocer. The quality of their food, treats and supplements is exceptional. We have been a regular customer and even after we moved far away from the city, we still come and pick food for our puppy. My little German Shepherd has loved every product I have got from the Pet Grocer. We had no issues with their food. We are a very happy customer and will keep continuing to get food from them. Some of the treats may seem a bit expensive, but so far I have seen their treats are very good quality and absolutely worth it. My dog now can totally differentiate between their treats and other commercial brand treats and she always chooses to eat the ones from the Pet Grocer. The staff have always been very helpful. Since the start of our journey with them, they have always given us good advise and we appreciate it.

Awesome store for dogs (and probably cats). All the products are beautifully displayed and kinda looked like the Aesop for dogs. There's a wide variety of natural and healthy treats for pets, frozen raw food (very convenient if you feed your dog raw food), supplements, toiletries (washes, etc.) and accessories. Everything is nicely packaged and not terribly expensive.I bought the elephant fish bites for my dog and he loved it. I love how there's a wide variety of tastes so I can keep my picky dog interested.

This is the only place we buy our dogs food, we have two Chihuahuas everything is natural organic the chews are fantastic it is a little pricey but it’s well worth the effort our dogs have plague free teeth beautiful shiny coats and bright clear eyes and they’re not overweight.

Healthy pet food an treats. Just inside South Melbourne market near the entrance where the dim sims are sold (cecil st). Environmentally friendly, locally produced, no preservatives, and great service!! I love this shop and so does my puppy!!!

Overpriced is an understatement.. I could buy grain free from a local butcher for those prices. I love my GSD although just unattainable to shop his food from here

Friendly and knowledgeable! The suggestions we have received from the staff here have helped our dogs so much with there skin allergies from there diet to the vet they suggested to us. Quality products!.this is why we continue to travel here every few weeks for the past 3 years to get our dogs meat even though we don’t live close. :) just a testament to how grateful we are for there service and product.
