Not sure what the nay-sayers are going on about when reviewing this place. Those placing negative reviews must be part of the current entitled generation. Called in for lunch and ordered the fish and chips x 2. Fish was cooked perfectly - moist flesh and a very crispy batter that just crunched when you bit into it. The chips were well cooked, being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. One of the better fish and chip eateries I've been to. Wouldn't hesitate going back.

Worst fish and chips I’ve had ever , old smelly oil, greasy logged potato cakes. Shame you have served that to us tourists.In reply to owner : I wish you all the bestIt wasn’t about the lack of dim sims , it was the way the food was prepared that my review was about , as you recall we left in silence with food left on table un eaten.

Lovely clean place, ladies serving were friendly and pleasant. We had dim sims, schnitzel burger, steak sandwich and coffees. Lovely experience and ambience. Noticed other people commenting on how delicious the food was. Love the extensive menu: you couldn't possibly not find something to like!

Absolutely beautiful flake, so fresh and consistent on both visits, light batter, cooked perfectly. Excellent chips and gravy. Good value, no fuss, 5 stars for the fish...

The BEST Fish n chips in a long time- fish cooked to perfection - just melted in your mouth, batter cooked with just enough crunch and chips same. Thank you and we will be back!

Just had an early lunch, and it hit the spot. Great food and value, plus friendly service. Been here a few times over the years, and have never been let down. Give them a go!!

Excellent fish and chips, good prices, friendly staff and clean premises. We drive from Bega and visit the diner every fortnight and have never been disappointed with our food. Thanks guys and keep up the good work.

This was a surpsingly pleasant lunch. The flathead was light and crispy and the veggie burgers were simple but tasty.We cleared our plates!

Looks like something went wrong, other reviews have been good yet I had a egg and bacon roll which looked like the air was let out of the bread roll although it tasted okay but just didn’t look too good, I suspect it was precooked and then heated up in a microwave. If they spent the time to keep their food more presentable and fresher, I would have given them more stars. A few minutes extra makes for a good meal.

Probably the worst fish and chips I’ve had. Oily and definitely not worth the money. My husbands piece of fish was full of bones and he could barely eat it. We are visiting from Sydney and looked forward to having fish n chips by the water… Disappointed to say the least. Only gave two stars because the woman that served us was friendly.
