Beacon Lighting Burleigh Heads

I placed an online order for two bedside lamps. One arrived broken which wasn't surprising because the two boxes were shipped in a paper carry bag, not a box. I emailed support and heard back the next day that the branch that shipped them would be I touch. After a couple of days and no contact I phoned Beacon Burleigh to see if I could swap with one of their lamps. The lady was very helpful, said yes, I could return and swap, and she'd put one aside.The next day I went in and luckily the lady I spoke to was there so she helped me. She found another lamp but it was a different colour so she had to swap out part of the lamp. This was not as easy as it sounds and she had to take apart the whole thing. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her, she was determined to fix my problem. I could not be happier. Thank you Sandra!

Always better products and manageable prices than expected.

I went to the Beacon Burleigh store looking for a fan and some external sensor lights for my new outdoor flyover patio. I had the electrician coming the following day and needed products that were in stock. Jeff was very knowledgeable and was able to provide some really useful information regarding fan quality, and air output. With the sensor lights, Jeff knew the difference between the lumens and sensor range for each light. I listen to Jeff's advice (as I was there to purchase quickly and without my husband) and was able to purchase the correct fan and lighting for my requirements. I am very happy with the service from Jeff and feel his knowledge really assisted me into choosing the correct products within my budget. Normally I don't do reviews, but in this case I feel it necessary. Do yourself a favour, go down to the Burleigh store and see Jeff, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Jeff!!!

Update: Geoff the store manager did call and apologise for the remote cradle being taken. Geoff delivered a replacement cradle the following day, I do appreciate that.Original story (based on warranty replacement) I bought numerous items including 3 Lucci fans. 1 was faulty and therefore Beacon sent an electrician out to fix, all well and good. The electrician accidentally took the remote cradle and was supposed to return it. 1-2 weeks later, 3 text messages, multiple phone calls and no resolution. Hundreds of dollars spent and it take hours to get a piece of plastic back, ridiculous and very frustrating.I called the store and was told to keep calling the electrician and “bark up his tree”, no thank you. Extremely dissatisfied and what’s worse, I still am following up the piece of plastic!

Love the service at the burleigh store and the help they offered to have found the most incredible lights for our kitchen and dining room. They recommended 3 electricians and we went with Andrew from Epic electrical, who was amazing!! The install process with him was quick and easy as well as very professional. He made time to install them quickly so we didn’t have to wait long at all either. Very happy!

When it came time to pit a feature chandelier in my stairwell, I obsessed with choices for months and finally went with a 12 light Venezia. Beautiful both with lights on and off and I get a lot of compliments. Also had a great experience with post purchase service by the manager. If staff give you grief, as was initially my case, ask to speak to the store manager.
