Westside Christian College Secondary Campus

Sent the to Bellbird Park Secondary School for not even a year and was luckily enough to try out two spaces that just came open and one that gave extra help for kids and will never regret it. We did Interviews out of BPssc and within the week we see a huge difference in how happy and how better they are learning. They don’t come home talking about school fights and things that should not be happening at schools anymore at all! I regret not doing this two years ago! Highly recommend this school any day! Fantastic! Book your kids in from primary school!

When I attended this school they were extremely supportive with me as I didn't have a stable home. one teacher would give me food one brought me stuff and some even prayed for me and helped me with homework after hours. Having teachers that showed me love really helped me and has impacted me positively still to this day. At every school there is bullies kids are kids and all go through this stage. But I can assure you as a child i felt comfortable enough to tell the teachers when I was bullied and they fixed things better then expected. I will be sending my children to this school because I know their saftey is guaranteed and the staff is great not only with their teaching but with the amount of care they show each student on a daily basis.It's defanitly a God driven school not only in their teaching but in their actions which in most cases impact people more.

I came straight from New Zealand into Westside and I remember my first day well. I remember being surrounded by other kids who asked me a whole bunch of questions: '''Where are you from?'' ''Why do you talk like that?'' ''What language do they speak in NZ??'' Our teachers were the kind who sat and talked about life with us during lunch times.My peers set a standard of respect and love year by year. I eventually graduated Westside and I don't regret it. #Westsideisthebestside

Teachers are rude. They don't care about students like they make out.

Some teachers have favouritism and treat some students better than others.

This school is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever witnessed. I sent my son here in year 7 thinking that it would be a supportive environment that would cater to his autism. I was very wrong, kids made fun of him for having autism and having red hair. They called him “fat autistic ranga” and even wrote this on his locker. Never send your kids here as teachers will not take any action against bullying.

Westside has a good intent. The idea about being a light to the community and showing what it means to be a christian is amazing. However, the school lacks any deep theological teaching or understanding, or at least, doesn't pass this to any students. As far as being a student is concerned, I learned more from attending Sunday school than what I learned within Westside. If the school could train and equip its students to be theologically wise I would have nothing against the school.

When I was a student at the school, I got mistreated by the teachers, I didn't get the help from the teachers either, I was so heavily disrespected that I felt sick everytime I went to school and felt like just running away. when I found a new school that could help me get through my chosen career path better, I was told that I was too stupid to succeed and that I will never succeed in life if I left, I am happier at my next school but when I reminisce of the days at westside, I just feel like crying and that pain will always be there

My son complete yr 7 to 12 and my Daughter still attends feom prep. Fantastic School, very good facilities, education first rate with lots of options in later years. After hours care on campus is extremely handy and the bus network is perfect. Never had any issues, good Christian values, best in the area.

I went here. It did not do me any favours with setting me up for life. I left Westside to commence grade 12 somewhere else. It was a much better school.
