Codie and his team were incredible and helped us secure an interstate rental in a few weeks. They attended every inspection, took great video and provided an opinion on the property. Could not recommend higher!

Ausrental / Codie is a complete SCAM.They engage with new customers prior to payment.However, once you have paid, they are completely unresponsive.They provide an infuriating service with no replies, we have heard nothing back, no application, no apartment, no refund.Any suggestions how best to legally press charges. I am so angry at this disgusting person who is taking advantage of vulnerable Australians. I am a uni student who needed to move from Brisbane to Sydney. After paying Codie $899 he completely cut off contact. I was shocked to read the reviews and see that this is a pattern with other people. He takes your money and never helps you. Codie, YOU should be ashamed of yourself. You are a terrible person, I do not know how you sleep at night.Thanks to you my partner and I used our last savings and have nothing left . YOU have cost me my University studies and my partners new job. I have contacted the police and we are going to take you down. If you think you can continue to do this, well you have another thing coming! If you have been affected by Codie, message me. Lets band together to stop this horrible man.

I cannot recommend the services of Ausrental / Codie. We paid the full relocation package for Sydney and were very positive after a good first call. After that, we got very limited suggestions for flats and a viewing they wanted to go for us didn't work because they didn't register for it (you would think they know how to go about those things). Anyway, since we got a bad feeling we started looking ourselves and secured a rental very quickly. After I suggested at least a partial refund in one text and two subsequent E-mails (within his refund policy), I never got so much as a reply, let alone a refund. Very disappointed.

Do not useI received no help from Codie regarding an apartment to rent. Paid him $800 and he showed me one video of an apartment he attended an inspection for which I didn't like. He told me initially when i signed up how he was going to help me and would work with me until he found an apartment for me. I have contacted him since over 15 times or more via phone calls, sms and emails for a discussion regarding a refund. No response from him to date after a month. I would recommend that you DO NOT USE this company. There is no honour and honesty in his dealings! Lesson learnt.

Highly recommend Ausrental! I was moving from Canberra to Melbourne for work on a tight time frame. Knowing nothing about Melbourne I was struggling with locations and was struggling to secure a rental from Canberra. Codie secured me the first apartment that I showed him in Sandringham that well under my budget that had everything I was hoping for! Not only is it a great apartment, its close to work, close to the beach and close to a HUUUUGE shopping centre! Thank you so much Codie - you took all the stress out of moving for me and I will definitely recommend you to friends and probably use your services again when I move next time!

I contacted Codie almost two months ago when I had just come out of quarantine. Moving to Sydney with its competitive rental market is surreal at the best of times, but throw in covid and lockdown and it is almost impossible to navigate.Codie was always available on the other end of the phone to guide me on properties and areas, and his on the ground crew who handled viewings on my behalf were incredible and friendly.We have secured a rental in a great area and within a few hours of securing the rental, Codie's team connected with me to make sure that our gas, electricity and internet was ready for move in day. I could not believe how seamless the process was.A special thank you to Codie for walking this road with our family. I felt like he was personally invested in finding a home for us and his contacts within the industry ensured that we got plenty of viewings even in lockdown.

I had the pleasure of working with Codie to secure a rental in Melbourne. My partner and I were moving interstate and we were very stressed that we wouldn't find something we liked in the timeframe we had. As soon as we made payment Codie got the ball rolling and attended any inspections we requested on very short notice and provided honest feedback on weather he thought it was worth applying. We ended up securing a rental only using Codie's services for 3 weeks and couldn't be happier. Codie's price is very fair compared to other competitors and provides excellent service!

You deserve to have your money back!Update: Codie promised to process a refund on Mon 7th Feb, we are now at Tues 8th Feb and still no refund. We will be taking this to Fair Trading and will report Codie and AusRental to the REIV. DO NOT USE. Codie is dishonest, has no decency and no integrity whatsoever.I’ve only given one star because it isn’t possible to give any less. We contacted Codie Smith ahead of our arrival in Australia for his services with securing a rental property. We paid the $1099, filled in a form with what we want in a property and then closer to the time, had a call with Codie to plan our next steps. He said he was going to view a few properties for us that weekend and would send us video walk throughs of each property within a couple of days. Nothing appeared, no contact. We chased him and then were told he’d had Covid over Christmas - not sure what that’s got to do with our pre-Christmas viewings but hey ho, we pursued it because we needed a property. So he sent us a couple of emails with a few links as if we couldn’t already hit Google ourselves! Anyway, our timescales were very tight and my husband ended up securing something himself. I have since contacted Codie with a formal complaint, asking for a full refund (something which is promised on his website) and he is ignoring my emails and calls. Do not use this service, and do not trust this man.

Beware of Codie! He is a scam! He was communicating effectively until he got my money. After that, he did not perform any service.I requestd for a refund as per contract, but no reply.Do not deal with him!
