Great place, great ☕️ coffee, and a good menu for meals. Would recommend it, the day we were there was one of those hit days, the air-conditioning was struggling to keep up.9/10.

I had the Ruben Sandwich. Excellent! Large portion, excellent price. Menu looked good. They were busier than normal but owner came out to my table, gave me water and said food will be here soon. Nice person.

The cafe was clean and staff were really friendly. Our food was very delicious, the servings were large and tasty and the coffee was 9/10 I ordered a 2nd cup . The paper was yesterday's , so the staff especially went and bought today's paper for me to read . Excellent customer service .

Hummingbird was a cafe located in Elwood that served great coffee. For brunch we got the beef burger and the breakfast board. The Angus beef burger patty was tender and was paired well with crispy onion rings. The breakfast board was perfect for me as it had on it both sweet and savoury dishes of turmeric/maple porridge, mushroom/avo/egg/halloumi and even an OJ. The cafe itself was modern bright and cosy, and service was friendly.

Excellent Banh Mi and perfect coffee - should have tried Hummingbird before. It’s had a few iterations over the years, Purple8 back in 2002 and another name I can’t remember before Hummingbird.

Great little spot in Elwood for breakkie - the eggs Benedict and vegan breakfast was nicely presented with perfectly cooked veggies. Gets fairly busy in the mornings. Decent service and food came relatively quickly

First time visit to Hummingbird Cafe in Elwood. We sat outside and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere that is Ormond Road.I ordered a Vietnamese pork roll, big juicy pieces of roast pork and crackle fresh crunchy roll with all the condiments. Delicious. My friend ordered an alternative pork roll (can't remember the name) and said it was really good.I look forward to visiting again.
