Had a really unpleasant experience here. I had a script to collect, and was. told by the other pharmacy in the plaza that THIS pharmacy had what i needed in stock. When i walked in and showed the script to the woman behind the counter she took one look at it and said no we dont have this" and gave me my script back. I told them the other pharmacy had said they believed it should be in stock and asked the woman to check

I really hate to leave bad reviews especially when I'm also in healthcare myself. The medication provided to me was a new medication but I did not receive much counselling and there is no batch number and expiry date on the label, which I believe is a legal requirement. Called to ask for those details but the pharmacist didn't think it was a big deal. The cost of the medication is double compared to other discount pharmacies. It's unfortunate that finding a good community pharmacy nowadays is so difficult.

Tried to charge me 15% more than my regular local chemist, but the worst part was the absurd anti-government fear-mongering posters and preaching that the sky is falling because people with chronic illness will save money by not having to go to the chemist every month. I'm not coming back

I received a flu shot at Northcote Discount Chemist today and received professional, caring and efficient service. When the staff member who was originally going to give my vaccination called in sick, the pharmacist arranged for someone to come from another store which I greatly appreciated. Staff also seemed very patient and caring with older customers.
