Food was great, *most* staff are great. Lovely little outdoor quiet section that my partner and I spent my birthday dinner in which went mostly perfect. Sadly our drinks were a little strong to taste (only problem is that I was designated driver as my partner can't drive at night) which was refused to be made weaker but was alternatively given another glass of soda to try and dilute the drink. One staff member (my partner and I's favourite) ran out after us with some complimentary ice cream for my birthday and if possible, I'd like to extend my personal thanks to her and commend her for being so friendly and thoughtful throughout our night. Thank you *most of you for a great quiet intimate night with some great food.

Loved this little Japanese place. Food was delish and the atmosphere was great. Only downside was the service was slow (due to lack of staff) and some food a little overpriced for what was given. Would definitely recommend the bao buns!

Good atmosphere. But my advice is to avoid the steaks. Some food is overcharged, ie. 27 dollars for half an eggplant.

Sashimi was very fresh, other food were delicious, especially the yakiniku beef and the mochi icecream. Portions were plentiful. Great experience overall.

This is one of Huskisson's hidden gems. The food here is next level! The sashimi is some of the freshest I've tasted with great oysters from the local area. The silken tofu reaches the same flavour levels reminiscent of the old Longrain in Surry Hills. Big favourite of our group was the Yakiniku grilled steak and the miso eggplant. Both are taste explosions that linger on the tongue in such a good way!

Traditional Japanese fare on the shores of Jervis Bay. We enjoyed the banquet offering here, with pre-dinner drinks and warm sake. The food was very tasty and servings generous. It was very busy on a Saturday night, but staff were friendly and service was timely. Overall good value for money.

Incredible cocktails, live music and food!!! Popped in for a quick drink, stayed for the whole afternoon and evening! Chatted with the owners, who are awesome! Take yourself off the high-street and walk 200m to this special gem of a place!

Had dinner here for a friend’s birthday. The staff were very friendly and the food came out quickly. They were also very accomodating for the cake we brought and carried it to the table while singing happy birthday.

Overall, the restaurant has a chill, positive vibe and a mixed crowd (young; old; families).The staff was friendly, however, the person that takes your drinks order didn’t take your food order and after waiting for a bit, I had to ask if someone can please take our order.Although we didn’t have a cocktail, they Guys behind the bar seemed like hipster cocktail makers! I’d recommend arriving a bit earlier, take a seat at the bar and enjoy one of their creations!The menu is focused on sharing and for me it was limiting (im quite picky).Eventually we had the “rainbow maki”; their special “Japanese bun” and the “Agadashi tofu” and the food was really good! Very fresh and good size portions for 2.
