Scotia have been working at properties I manage for over a decade and their service is always excellent. On the rare occasion there is an issue, Billy and his team have always been willing to address the matter and reach a satisfactory outcome for my clients.

These blokes are all the gear no idea, wouldn’t let them in my driveway let alone do any work on my property

Zero accountability from Scotia Group staff and subcontractors showing up unannounced or with less than 24 hours notice.It took 15 interruptions from 12 different subcontractors, dozens of calls and emails over 8 weeks to fix a problem at a rental.

Just an overall terrible quality and so many corners cut when it comes to renovation. Buying cheaper/smaller products to replace the ones that were originally removed. Stay away if you can

Absolutely disgraceful company! Garage ceiling had collapsed at our house during a wind storm and Scotia group came to do the inspection. The inspector was claiming that the ceiling trusses were spaced at 600mm and were meant to be spaced at 450mm apart and that’s why it collapsed. I’ve been a builder for 20 years and ceiling trusses span 600mm. Then in his report, claimed that the ceiling collapsed due to “general wear and tear, and lack of maintenance”. Therefore it wasn’t covered through insurance. Steer well clear of this company and the incompetent staff/inspectors they have working for them!

Incredibly unprofessional. This company is the after hours service for my body corporate. Twice this year their services have been required over ongoing plumbing issues on my floor. The first time they were so slow to respond that a simple blockage ended up ruining multiple units. They dragged the restoration process out so long that the body corp insurance company literally gave up and just paid out a settlement directly so we could get our own contractors.Tonight when we had a repeat of the situation a staff member had the gall to complain that I phoned them late at night (they are literally listed as our 24/7 emergency contact) and refused to send the required services, and alternately hung up on me or refused to answer when I kept trying to get assistance, before then complaining that I was harassing the company by requesting they send urgent assistance for a literal sewerage flood. Zero comprehension there that they are paid to provide after hours emergency service for our building.

DO NOT let them anywhere near your property. Months later work was not complete. There is a lack of quality workmanship. Are they incapable or simply do not care? Would give NO STARs if I could

Very disappointed! After 3 years of trying to have an insurance claim fixed, works still not even near completed. Incompetent builders installing incorrect windows twice, with slow turn around times (over 1 year). No permits for structural work conducted. Lied to us that rotted beams had been replaced. Painter painted the existing door that hadn’t yet been replaced. No communication between contractors and staff.

Fantastic company to work alongside in the strata industry. The Scotia Group team are honest, relaible and hard working with their client's satisfaction always in mind. It can be a tough line of work, but they are the very best in the industry that I have come across.
