Love this place for a glass of wine and cheese board or chacuterie. It has a great selection of local and international meats, cheeses and wines. A lovely little courtyard and friendly staff. They also do delicious deli sandwiches.

Pickled Poet
This is a gentle restaurant offering a variety of pickled foods, try the eggplant and wonderful sardines. A strange combination but it works. Cured salmon is soft and creamy. A three because The salt levels are high, especially on the hummus with lavish ‘bark’. They also include three wonderful cheeses among the pickles. It’d be better if they separated these with the dried apple and muscatels.

First time eating at pickled poet and it was so delicious!! They great non alcoholic options and the grazing board was so gorgeous. Fraser and the other staff members took great care of us ❤️

We are very lucky to have Pickled Poet in Thirroul. They always the best fresh food full of homemade deliciousness, and a great wine list. Also dog friendly. I wish I could lunch here everyday.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was lovely.We thoroughly enjoyed the grazing board, native peppercorn salami, and burrata salad. Squid ink salami (part of our grazing board) was the highlight of our visit. We purchased some more to take home with us.

The Pickled Poet is my favourite wine bar in Thirroul. Great food and service and of course the drinks are exceptional.

The most charming little deli and wine bar—everything from the shopfront and the gold lettering on the window, to the interior decorating, is so sweet. I love buying chocolate, hot sauce and other specialty provisions here, and my husband and I had the loveliest dinner there with amazing food (including an excellent vego option) and live music. It was raining, but the under cover area was great and they get some fantastic musicians. We also really loved that they have made this venue so dog-friendly— we really appreciate that our beloved Golden Retriever is always welcomed so warmly. I wish every cafe and restaurant in the area was this pet friendly! Thank you John and team for your excellent work.

Highly recommend, what an absolute gem! Friendly staff, great menu with generous portions and relaxed, chilled vibe. Will definitely be back!
