Not very good first impressions when served. Was advised that the wait time was over 35 minutes which was fine but felt like was just putting more pressure on the team for placing another order. Ran out of buns for burgers at 5:30pm on a Friday. Ordered Snapper and it was definitely not Snapper. Paid premium prices for 2 fish fillets and only ate 1 which was a struggle. Dissappointing. I tried to call them to see if they maybe mixed up our fish but no answer. Don't be dissappointed like we were. We know our fish and was definitely ripped off.

Sea scallops with roe in bread crumbs the best on the northern rivers local sweet potato scallops soo good followed by a trusty potato scallop NO greasy spoon here lots to choose from on menu !Sorry no photo couldn't wait

We have fish and chips here every weekend and they are always good but for the last couple of months or more chips haven’t been fresh like they use to. Have been hoping it was just a bad run but unfortunately not. Chips look like they have been recooked a few times. Some fresh ones mixed with recooked ones. Use to have a takeaway store and know what fresh look and taste like. Wish I could attach a pic.

Delightful staff and really delicious dinner. One of our children mentioned that they'd like to have dinner from there every night! Another child was quiet all meal-long, and was licking her fingers at the end, so it is safe to say that everyone enjoyed their meals and we will definitely be going back.Great that it is open 7 days.Thank you!

My partner brought me home the “dinner for two with flat head”We were very disappointed, after reading so many great review we decided to try it.We only live an 8 minute drive away and my partner can straight home with the Oder after it was made.The fish was over cooked and coldThe chips were cold and under cookedWe had to re heat the chips and potato scallops.The calamari was the best thing on the plate but overall it felt and tasted like everything had been cooked from frozen, wasn’t cooked right and the batter was flavorless. No salt on the chips! Very disappointing :(

Visited in December, the week before Christmas. Based on the conversations I overheard between staff and other customers, I suspect the shop was reaching the end of its inventory after the weekend and was perhaps awaiting new stock. In saying that the burgers and chips were very good and devoured by the family, unfortunately though the fish was disappointing. Its a hard 3. On a different day, I would like to think things would be different given the really good experience with the other menu items. Give them a go if you need a bite!

The staff were friendly and the prices were fair.The wait time was much longer than any seafood place I've been to, and this was a Thursday lunchtime.I ordered a small chips and this has to be the smallest serve I've had from a fish and chip shop. They were very tasty, but value for money is not great. A scoop usually gives a lot more than what I received. My husband ordered a medium and his was not much bigger.
