After an offroad bingle I dropped off the gravel bike for a groupset swap out and service. The talented yet delicate hands of James W weaved their magic. A day later she rolled out of there like a brand new bike. The sun was shining, birds were chirping and I even think a motorist waved to me - I can only assume this was all due to the excellent servicing provided by James. Thanks mate ✌️

Great bike mechanics, if you have a MTB then these are your guys. Friendly, informative and fixed my polygon Shimano Deore gear set and the chain backlash problem to better than new! They will be my new mechanics

We recently purchased a Scott Spark from 'For the Riders' and we can't speak highly enough of the experience. Firstly, these guys know mountain bikes, and they are open and honest about matching your level to bikes they have. Tom was great to deal with and really looked after us. I also use them for servicing and the quality of work is top shelf.

I had a terrible creak in my bike, thinking it might be the BB. Went to see For The Riders to see if they wanted to assist.BB checked, still a creak, cranks checked, cassette checked, chainring checked, still a creak. Changed the rear wheel, no creak!Re-greased all the moving parts from my rear wheel and mission accomplished. Absolutely great service. Even got a t-shirt to show off to my friends when I’m back in the Netherlands.Should be 6 stars rated!Great service, friendly staff!

The FTR staff were very helpful when I custom-built my dream Santa Cruz Nomad bike and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are very supportive of the MTB community!

Purchasing a MTB from them was a good experience but it was all downhill after that, the bike had to be taken back 3 times due to mechanic error when building the bike. They then refused to answer any of my emails a few months later when there was an issue with the cranks.

The negative comments about FTR have no substance or grounds. I've been going to FTR for bike purchases and servicing since 2012 and have only had excellent and friendly service by knowledgeable and skilled staff who are seriously passionate about riding. Most staff compete in the local racing scene and are familiar faces - they care about their customers. I'll always recommend FTR.
