The Other Bridesmaid

I can not even put into words our experience with the team @ The Other Bridesmaid.They were there EVERY step of the way - from a large-ish wedding up in North QLD mid/late 2023, to very wild decision of the smallest elopement down in the Hinterlands of North NSW in mid 2022 with a time frame of pretty much 6 months to organise.Everything I (and my husband) pictured for our day and put forward, was created into so much more than we could have even imagined. We can't be more grateful for the beautiful day that was our day.This team hold such a special place in our hearts and we honestly couldn't recommend them higher! xx

I hired Ashleigh for on the day coordination at my wedding and was absolutely thrilled with her work! Right from the start she stood out against other wedding coordinators, going above and beyond before I had even hired her. She was so helpful leading up to the day, coordinating everything for me and helping me to feel at ease. She did an amazing job at making our wedding covid-safe without letting the restrictions ruin our day – and she had excellent suggestions on how we could make things work. She was incredible on the day of the wedding, she got straight to work as soon as she arrived and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She had everything under control the whole day, and not a single thing went wrong. We were so thankful that because of Ashleigh we were able to have the wedding that we wanted. I would highly recommend Ashleigh and The Other Bridesmaid to anyone who wants a smooth-running and stress-free wedding!

We couldn't have done the day without The OB team! They paid so much attention to every detail through the whole process which made our day perfect. I planned with them for over a year and on the day, they set everything up beautifully. The changeover between ceremony to reception was also seamless. I was very impressed with the way they handled last minute changes due to the flood too. Highly recommend!

We engaged Ashleigh and the OB team for planning, styling and on the day coordination, and we are so glad we did.It meant we could actually really enjoy the planning process without the stressful part.Ashleigh and the team had everything under control in the weeks leading up to it, so much so that I was worried at one point that it was too easy and there must be something I was missing (which of course wasn't the case)!!The styling was amazing and the day ran perfectly (even with a wet weather contingency plan that had to be used).We got so many comments from guests that it was the best wedding ever.Thank you so much Ashleigh and OB team!

Hiring Ashleigh and her team was one of the best things we did for our wedding! It took away almost all the stress of planning the wedding, especially when we were planning the wedding from almost 2000km away, and amongst all the uncertainties of covid. Ashleigh was always very prompt in replying to emails, was across every little detail, and was always planning one step ahead (for example, when I realised our florist was across the closed NSW/QLD border, I emailed Ashleigh in a panic, only to be reassured that she already has Plans A to C in place and that the flowers were definitely going to be there at the wedding). We've had many guests say how impressed they were with the smooth running of the day - all credit goes to Ashleigh and her team! Her styling is also just absolutely amazing - it was one of the most beautiful receptions I have been to, so glad it was mine!

We are so thankful we booked The Other Bridesmaid!! Ashleigh is amazing!! We had booked The OB for on the day coordination as we really wanted to enjoy our day and not have to worry about the little things, and were so grateful for everything Ashleigh organised for us. She had excellent customer service, communication and she is such a lovely person. Ashleigh did up a detailed run sheet of the day, liaised with all our vendors prior and on the day, setup our ceremony and reception to look amazing and ensured the whole day ran perfectly.Nothing was too hard for Ashleigh, and she was always willing to go above and beyond for us. We couldn't recommend Ashleigh and The OB enough. Thank you so much again!

The team at The Other Bridesmaids made everything about our wedding perfect. We asked them to come along for our whole journey to plan our FNQ destination wedding and I am so insanely grateful these guys were there. From finding the perfect vendors, setting up the most magical reception, to putting out all the little fires that come with a rural destination wedding, these guys made everything perfect. Thank you to Michelle especially, who responded to my 2am emails, gave the best advice on where best to splurge and save, and made the whole day completely stress free for me and my husband. Having Michelle there on the day, someone we had worked with throughout the planning process meant we knew she had everything sorted, and didn’t spend one second worrying about what was happening outside of our rooms while we were getting ready. This superwoman was running around all day in the sticky heat, sorting and solving a few loose ends and set everything up beautifully. Our wedding planning, the styling and the day itself was only possible because of the team at The Other Bridesmaids. So thankyou, so very much.

I have nothing but incredible things to say about Ashleigh and her team at The Other Bridesmaid. After seeing their beautiful work at a girlfriends wedding, I decided I needed Ashleigh to be involved in the styling of my own. I had already done most of the planning and I needed someone to bring it all together and make it perfect on the day, and that is what Ashleigh did. Her attention to detail was second to none and I am so grateful to her and her team. Not only is her work beautiful, but so is she. Her calming personality and empathy were exactly what I needed while we got married before the peak of Covid-19 in Queensland. It was the best last minute choice and money I'd happily spend again. Thank you, Ashleigh! Michael and I are so thankful.

Once I spoke with you ashleigh the stress of it dissipated as I trusted you wholeheartedly.It’s a unique thing to have complete trust in someone in planning a wedding I feel, but with 2 young babies and a busy household it became a manageable task all thanks to you both.
