I had the good fortune to meet friends here for Sunday lunch. The service is fantastic, food delicious and the atmosphere is straight out of the Mediterranean. Would thoroughly recommend but bring your appetite as servings were very generous.

More a 4.5 really. Passed by this place so many times. I was craving for some pasta and their specials board looked good. The food is delicious! I really enjoyed the spaghetti Santorini, although a bit on the expensive side with good, but I wouldn’t say generous, portions. The meatball appetiser was pretty good too. The staff are friendly, efficient, and really pay attention to all the tables, which was nice if you were on one of the outer fringe tables.Cons: Wish they would be a bit more generous with the Aperol spritz and give me a full glass. And not use a plastic straw...Would come back again if craving for pasta. Or maybe pizza - their pizza menu looks extensive!

I have been ordering from this restaurant approximately once every three months for the last 9 years.This restaurant was definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Lane Cove but not anymore after I received the terrible customer service from the manager.Today, I ordered a Spaghetti Marinara, Caesar salad and Margarita Classico via Uber Eats and the margarita I received looks like a normal margarita as the Basil leaves weren't on top.I called the restaurant to check and the answer from the manager was they couldn't get basil today".They are an Italian restaurant and they don't have Basil today? They are running business today without basil even though they can buy it at Woolworths or Coles which is near their shop?Anyway

There were some good and there were some bads. Unfortunately, the bads outweighed the good.Service was good, friendly and efficient. Good work to those ladies.The food was a bit of a let down. Not only overpriced, which meant our expectations were higher, the food needed more attention. Although it presented well, the pasta had prawns heads. This meant we were constantly fishing out the heads and the whiskers through this saucy dish. You shouldn't have to work through your food. The prawns were also very floury, which makes me question the quality. For the price paid, I expected good quality produce.The meatballs were also something to work at - pulling out bits of leaf and whole cloves of garlic.Although the floury prawns were raised as a concern, nothing came of it.

Fast turning into my favourite Italian in Lane Cove. Love the outdoor relaxed eating environment, it's more relaxed then the hustle of Via Napoli who seem pusher. I also love the more rustic and course crispliness of the pizza - think the put semolina on the outside which gives it a great crunch! Ok maybe not the most authentic but I loved it!

La Piazza is a top quality takeaway and restaurant that I must have spent at least $1500 so far.I'm a Lane Cove Local and they have a top range of quality Pizza's at a fair price.Highly recommended and staff do a great job.

Absolute garbage - fake woodfired pizzaThey use a dominos style conveyer belt oven making essentially toast with burnt yellow mozzarella and aggressively defend their trash.50m down Longueville Road you will find great woodfired pizza with integrity and friendly staff.
