Good furniture and mattress store. not the cheapest, but good selection and super friendly service. Unfortunately, we could not buy the mattress we liked as it was not deemed possible to deliver it to the second floor of our narrow town house. We got a king size delivered form another store in Sydney at the end.

We received a voucher from FF when we purchased our lovely leather couch - thank you! So we decided to use this towards some wall art. We went to FF to view 2 x pictures that we really liked on their website. Unfortunately neither of those painting/prints were on the showroom floor however Shirley was super super helpful - she looked around the entire store to see if she could find them for us, then she looked in the back/warehouse, then she took me downstairs in Home HQ mall to show me the paintings in the display area. She was a dream to talk to, very friendly, super helpful and pleasant. I was delighted by how patient and dedicated she was with making sure we got the wall art we wanted even though they’re not expensive items compared to other larger FF pieces. Having good customer service definitely goes a long way and this will make me come back to FF to buy the more expensive items again! Thank you Shirley! You deserve a raise!

Today I visited Freedom Artarmon with my son who has recently bought a small apartment. We were sitting on a sofa in the store and Geoff the manager approached us and asked us if we needed some help. He then took us through the key things to consider when buying a new place and gave us all the information we needed around sofas, sofa beds, mattresses. He was so generous with his time and clearly an expert in this business. Whether it was a question about the size of the sofa or the softness of the mattress Geoff knew his stuff. His knowledge and expertise were incredible. Thank you for making my sons first experience of furnishing his new pad amazing and for giving him the sound guidance that he needed to consider for his apartment. It was the most wow service I have ever received in retail. Geoff you are awesome! Thank you so much and please visit the Artarmon store more often as you said you worked in another store usually and were only at Artarmon temporarily. Five star service and I now have a son who has a clearer idea of what he needs to focus on! Two very happy customers!

What started out as a great experience at this store has turned into a drama and a saga. Ordered a sofa - delivery was delayed several times so we were kindly offered a sofa on loan. Decided to keep the loan sofa and return the new sofa (that was never delivered) and were promised a refund for the difference in price, but 2 months later and we are still waiting for our refund! Impossible to contact anyone at Freedom since they shut their stores - the only way to contact them is via an email questionnaire on their website and another 3 weeks later and I am still waiting for a response!

My parents are very elderly. My father is 88 and is my mother's carer. They are beautiful and exceptional people who have been through a very difficult time of late. They planned to move into a retirement home and purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture from Freedom Atarmon for the move - their old furniture wouldn't fit in their new villa. Unfortunately, my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and the move was cancelled. It has been a devastating time. We were told the Freedom order for furniture could not be cancelled and so my parents, trying to make the best of the situation, took it all into their old apartment when it arrived 5 months later. The dining room table that they ordered was a long table though and does not fit the small dining space in their current apartment. My mother was finding it difficult to move around and had some injuries tripping over it. In desperation, I rang Freedom and spoke to Kerry who agreed to replace it for a smaller round table. I was initially so impressed...but things soon changed when I realised Kerry was trying to profit from this awful situation. I had spoken to my parents and selected a table of equal value to the one my parents purchased. Kerry told me that because they had a promotion on at the time of the initial purchase, my parents would have to pay an additional $600+ dollars (FOR A TABLE OF SAME VALUE!!!!) if they wanted to replace it because she wasn't going to apply the same deal to the replacement item. I explained that my parents could not afford that given their current situation. After it became apparent Kerry had no interest in my parent's plight or trying to assist, I asked to speak to her manager about it. Kerry's response was that there was no one above her that I could speak with because the only other person that was more senior to her was in Jerusalem and Freedom had no other managers or anyone in charge that was more senior to her. When I asked who was looking after that person's role in his/her absence, she said there was another person called Hayley but I couldn't possibly speak to her because she was also mysteriously 'away' at the moment. So it seems that Kerry at Freedom Artarmon is running the entire Freedom furniture operation in Sydney (dare I say Australia) at the moment, and yet is unable to make a call on replacing an item of furniture for an item of the exact same value (indeed, the replacement is priced even lower than the table my parents currently have) because her colleagues are in Jerusalem or 'away' and she cannot make that call on her own. I am absolutely appalled that Kerry and Freedom would take advantage of this turn of events for my parents and try to make money from sick, elderly people. Really, what sort of a person or company does that? My parents bought a whole house of furniture from this company and they are so petty and mean that they want to charge two people in their late eighties another $600 that they can't afford to replace an item. Absolutely disgusted. Kerry and Freedom, I am going to publish this review on every possible website and go public it in every other way possible so that everyone knows exactly what sort of a company Freedom is and how morally corrupt it is.

Knew full well we are going through supply chain issues at the moment which instilled complete disbelief when a couch, dining table and chairs were set to arrive by a set date 6 weeks later. It's fine to have delays but blatantly lying upfront is not ok, 4 months of additional delays made up in 4 erratic sudden increments via email is beyond a joke.Salespeople must be more realistic than this especially these times, but they cant be until the people above them peel their eyes away from their profits for one millisecond to focus on the customer

Ordered a sofa here was told would take 5 months. About a month out got email saying it was delayed, then another email saying it was delayed again. Then randomly the sofa was available for delivery. Booking delivery was easy and straight forward.Had trouble with getting the sofa into the apartment but eventually got there. One of the guys was quite rude especially to his coworker (I know it isn’t freedom but their delivery company unitrans but just wasn’t a pleasant experience)Love the sofa but the fact that it was delayed beyond the time we were given we needed to take a couple stars off especially since we didn’t have a sofa for the entire time as it is a new place.

Such a great experience!Looking at a couch for the second time, we were assisted by Zack/Zach (sorry if the spelling or names are slightly wrong!)He was so nice and really helpful despite being in training. He had a good amount of knowledge and was really relaxed in talking to us.He helped us until we had a tricky question, then he called Dean over to help who again was very relaxed and honestly just a answered our questions about the leather and wasn’t heavy in selling us anything. They were so patient with us and not at all pressuring for a sale.Finally convinced to buy, Zach helped us out again (so patient!) in the final purchase details and that’s where Topi jumped in to let us know the couch we were purchasing had just come up as a seconds order (or similar?) and could be delivered on two weeks rather than the standard waiting period. So proactive and very much appreciated!All three were so lovely, we couldn’t have had a better experience and left very happy customers.

Ordered a bed frame which was delivered in a faulty state. Customer Service in handling the issue has been awful. Slow response times, staff going around in circles, and not even trying to resolve the problem. The after sales support staff assigned to me only works part time. It takes forever to get any responses.Edit: 3 week follow up that Freedom never got in touch with me. I sorted it out on my own. Not sure why Freedom messaged saying they would get in touch with me, when they didn't even bother. Just for show on the reviews I guess.

The store manager, Maya, was graciously helpful in honoring a promotion we missed online by a day. She was able to sort out the issue promptly and kept us well informed. We really appreciate her going above and beyond for her customers. Definitely makes us happy return customers!
