We have been bringing our 2 cavvies to Mr Barkley since they opened in Maroochydore. It was obvious right from the start that they are a cut above the rest (sorry about the pun). They really look after the dogs in their care and their work is exceptional. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Did the DIY lesson on Saturday, most amazing experience for Poodle and myself, the care and gentle, approach on teaching the technique on washing,cutting, and dental care ,nail maintenance and ear infections, on how to prevent all these conditions, it was a excellent day to spend with Pooch lovers, Thankyou Soooo very much for a excellent day

The worst experience ever. Booked my golden retriever in for a “beauty bath” large dog $100. My credit card was charged $65 the day of the booking to secure a no show. When my husband took our dog in for the appointment he was told it would take 3 hrs and cost $240 . When he questioned this he was told that they don’t do “beauty baths for double coat dogs. This was not told to me when I phoned and made the booking. So as you can imagine he left without our dog being bathed and was charged $65 for a no show even though we did show. They refuse to refund the $65. A man by the name of Chris who my husband spoke to said that he could wash the dog but would only get half a job. What a joke. They will take no responsibility for there very poor customer service.My only mistake was not reading the bad reviews they have received before. BEWARE

I have been taking my shoodle to Mr Barkley's for 2 years and I have never been disappointed! The team are very friendly and it is a lovely premises. I love how they manage to make my 9 year old look like a puppy again! He loves going there, and always comes home looking and smelling wonderful ❤️

My 15 week old Maltese Shitzu went there today for her first ever groom. She loved it and the staff are very friendly and were excellent with puppies. Was good to know I was leaving her with such a professional business - totally happy :)

They do a wonderful job grooming our dog. She is always very happy to head to the groomer and leaves smelling beautiful and looking very clean and neat. ☺️

Absolutely unacceptable experience today for my cavoodles puppy groom. I was told it would be around 2hrs when I dropped my dog off so I decided to wait around Maroochydore until I was called as it was not worth going home and back for ~ 2hrs.3 hours later I call to see why I haven’t been contacted to pick my puppy up and I was told it would be another hour! I do NOT understand how a puppy groom for a 3kg cavoodle can take 4 hours. I also have a 15kg labradoodle who only takes 2hrs for a full groom so I know this is not a normal wait time. 4.25 hours later I have not received a call so I turn up and my puppy was out the back in a cage ready, yet I did not receive a call.I understand they like to take things slow for the first groom but 4.25 hours is ridiculous for a puppy groom especially when it’s 2.25 hours PAST the time I was told! I was also one of the first customers of the day so there should not have been any delays to contribute to this. This is not only unfair on a puppy to be put through such a long process for what is such a basic service, it is also worrying for the owner not knowing what is going on for 4.25 hours with zero communication. The puppy groom was also not done well - legs didn’t even looked brushed and my dog was returned with his harness half chewed.Will not be returning to this dog salon ever again and will be contacting the owner for further action.Highly disappointed and upset with the terrible service.

I had a really good experience the first time I visited, however, the grooms afterward were not so good. After the 2nd groom, I spoke with the owner and was very happy that she opened up specially to attend to what was missed during the groom - at no charge to me except that I had to attend the salon again. I made a 3rd appointment using their online system, and the staff actually called and spoke to me to change the time and confirm the booking. When I arrived, they told me that my appointment was at another salon. I had to go elsewhere for my dog to be groomed that day. The staff are friendly but I don't have time to be mucked around, re-attend or travel to different salons at short notice. I am probably at fault for not ensuring they booked me in at the salon I've used previously, but after phoning to confirm and then turning up to sorry
