Burren Junction Hot Springs
I was comfortable with the temp at about 38 degrees. Other people say that is too cool, they prefer other thermol pools which are 40-41 degrees. It is no longer free to stay here, and as such, the pool could do with a clean to remove the green slime/algie. The steps into the pool are slippery so great care should be taken (hold tight to hand rails) when entering and exiting the water.

Love this place, just finished another annual trip to Burren junction hot springs and it never lets us down, it's basic and it's good.We're back.Still the same .Still love it.

Closed,full of rubbish and derelict now as is the town. Remembered it well from the 70,s when working there and that town buzzed,footy team,old pub,shop. Sad to see and not alone in dying country towns,

Is closed till March 2020. Slushy pool due to a drizzle coming in from the bore. Wondering if limited water able to be drawn up due to all the irrigation being used as seen on the rd to narrabri.

Total relaxation. The artesian bore that feeds the bath is a very comfortable 37 degrees and just soaks away any aches and pains. Very popular with travelers as there is camping at this location. There is a submerged step running around the outside edge of the main pool at a perfect depth for sitting on while relaxing. The smaller pool did not seem to get much use as the bottom was quite slippery. Four showers are available in the pool area with a toilet block just outside the fenced area.
