My husband and I had breakfast at The White House this morning and it was amazing! The food was delicious; I got the Roti Benedict with Bacon and my husband ordered the Rice Pudding as well as Chocco Smoothie. I also had an iced latte which was delicious and strong!The service was great and we both really enjoyed the dining experience! The restaurant had a lush, modern, tranquil aesthetic with calming earth tones and white but was also very family friendly!Would definitely recommend!

Loved the food (chicken risotto and carbonara) and the staff were friendly. They warned us they were understaffed and we were happy to wait - but it didn’t feel like they took that long anyway. Nice atmosphere. Thankyou!!

I came across this gem with my family and we all had such a beautiful lunch and time here. Food was incredible, staff were so friendly and the kids area was amazing! Our boy’s played for ours whilst we enjoyed a wine in the sun. Best food I have had in a long time!

A great place for Friday night drinks in the heart of Barwon Heads. Good quality cocktails at an affordable price. A diverse menu and lovely service. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

The kids play area was perfect and it was a lovely ambiance. I really wanted to love this place. But unfortunately the service was terrible and left us so frustrated. We ordered lunch right at noon, after 45 minutes I still hadn’t received my food and no one had checked in with us at all. I had to chase someone down to ask, and she then informed me the kitchen was having a delay switching to lunch service and it would be a bit longer. It took an hour to get our food and there was no apologies at all. It should not be a surprise to the kitchen that people will start ordering lunch at noon, and I would have even been fine with it if someone would have checked in to let us know what was happening or offer us another coffee, but the staff were non existent and not friendly when they finally spoke to us. I got the prawn salad which was delicious but $28 and it had only 3 prawns that I had to peel myself covered in sauce. If they improved the training of their staff, I reckon this place would be amazing but unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

What a shame this cafe is totally understaffed and incompetent. It's a lovely venue and has a great vibe, but sadly the wait staff were untrained, uninterested and totally incompetent. Waited over an hour for our coffee order and then it was incorrect. Waitress not interested in taking our order so went up ourselves. Another 30 minute wait. This cafe could be outstanding but the staff need training and an overhaul. My hair grew 3 inches waiting for our order Lol. Would definitely not recommend nor will I be coming back.

We stumbled across this gorgeous little spot while out and about in Barwon Heads last night. Great menu. Very friendly, chatty and informed staff. Loved the food. Highflying recommended.

On a whim we chose this place. The whole ambience of the White house was fresh and inviting. Lots of areas to sit from outdoor sunny, outdoor under shade watching the world go by and also inside setting. Just like the taking in a breath of fresh air and the food didn't disappoint.Best calamari and not crumbed or battered with Asian salad. Big bowl of Spaghetti Carbonara. Delicious cakes & coffee. Will go again.

Dropped in for lunch on Sunday. We decided on a nasi goreng & a seafood Nadi goreng which were very delicious. The coffee was excellent ( long black) & the chocolate milkshake very good.

The service we received at the White House was the worst experience I have ever had in my life!The female manager who was supposed to be “looking after us” a group of 15 celebrating a birthday, had no clue what was going on and seemed to be in Zombie Land. After an hour and only one table having their orders taken we were still waiting on our first drinks, then food started coming out randomly…still our second table hadn’t even ordered. We mentioned this a couple of times when would they get their orders taken? while half the first table had already eaten what also was very average food! This went on and on until we were so frustrated with the manager who then preferred to argue with us and kept asking what do you need me to do to fix this, well take the orders! Get our meals out to us! and the drinks we ordered an hour and a half ago would be a start. “Yep yep okay” she would disappear time goes by still waiting. After 2 hours waiting four guests still had not received their meals and we had to leave to go to a show. She then verbally insulted the person who’s 60th birthday it was when we complained about the service and mentioned some of our guests had not received their meals at all. Our entire party were absolutely dumbfounded and appalled by her weird behaviour and reactions. We were totally embarrassed and had our evening ruined by such poor management, lack of service and no understanding at all of why were disgruntled. Whatever land the manager was living on she could not co-ordinate herself, remember our orders, or deliver a service even though we repeatedly asked just to get our meals and drinks out. To end at the register we were screamed at which the whole restaurant heard, and were told we weren’t welcome back there again. Well darling get some help we would never go back there and be treated like that ever again. It was disgraceful!
