A great place for an early morning coffee and bacon and egg roll. The staff were really friendly

$108 for the fisherman’s basket, schnitzel burger, side of fries, vegan roll and 2 ice coffees at the Kiosk. Food took 30 mins to come out.Wouldn’t have a problem paying this $$$ (15% PHOL and 1.5% credit card surcharge would’ve bumped up the price too) if the food actually tasted good. Food is really bland and the seafood tasted frozen, not fresh (prawns had a fishy smell/taste to them). The venue and location itself is very nice, but won’t be coming back considering how terrible the food tastes (especially for the price you pay!).

Went here for a lunch with husband and baby… pouring down with rain and still had a fabulous time!Food was divine, could not fault it. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked and presented. I’ll be back! Highly recommend it to anyone on the northern beaches

We had a fabulous night for my wife’s birthday and 25 friends on a Friday night. The staff were very accomodating and led by Shannon on the night who is a superstar and provided exceptional service. All through the night people were complimenting the superb food and drinks. My wife could not have been happier and the staff arranged GF versions of each course specifically for her. We cannot wait to return.

Waiting over 40 minutes for food that eventually ended up being cold. The service here really needs some work...after so much waiting, I felt as though they owed me money for my time... not a good feeling....

Lets start with the very good. The food. Had the lamb mains and the fish and chips mains. Perfectly cooked and tender lamb. The fried kale went well with the meat. The fish was good, the fries, extra crispy. Also had kids tomato spaghetti....very nice. And the salt bush calamari, I shall order it every time I am here Next the ok and so-so. Definitely the mocktails. The mint was just a garnish...I'd expect if the drink specifies mint then i expect it to be muddled in to release flavour. The zucchini flowers were not bad but not memorable. Like the lamb...so good. Lastly, the not so good. It's open searing so was bothered by flies l. I know it probably can't be helped but they kinda spoiled the ambience. Also I asked to be seated on a different table from the one I was offered but I was told the other table is reserved. In the 90 min I was there nobody occupied that table. (Maybe they had a cancellation) will definitely go back for the excellent food and really quick service and would just stick to beer.

Dunes was absolutely amazing for our wedding venue. It was a perfect fit for us as a couple who loved the beach & water. The venue itself was perfectly set up, clean & very functional for our 100 guest wedding. Our family and friends commented on how beautiful the venue was. Steffi & Jade we’re amazing & easy to contact in the lead up to the wedding answering every question & query that I had sent through. They gave us plenty of information regarding our big day which helped so much in the planning. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing venue and we would highly recommend this venue to friends & family.- Ashleigh & Chris

Visited Thursday 5th JanuaryBrunch visit to the kioskOrdered the Halloumi Roll, Cronut pastry, small strong cappuccino and a strong piccoloThe roll was filling and had all the flavours that it contains including the little taste of chilli flakesAren't Cronuts meant to have filling inside? This one doesn't. The pastry is soft, crunchy and not too sweetThe piccolo was a disappointment, burnt and bitterThe cappuccino was too milky for a coffee with two shotsService was greatLocated near the beachToday. A very windy day.

Our lunch at Dunes was a spur of the moment decision that topped off a fantastic day.Dunes is aesthetically beautiful whilst also having a wonderfully chilled vibe. They have a great drinks menu and really friendly staff - and the food was beyond delicious. For 3 people we ordered 6 small plates - all of which were bursting with flavour. In particular I would recommend the crab salad, the bbq octopus and the scallops. I would also highly recommend the butter leaf salad. Best of all Dunes is really reasonably priced. Would go back in a heartbeat

I love shooting weddings here, the park and twin pine trees across the road is a perfect spot for your ceremony and the oceans views are amazing for locals and non locals! The food is excellent and the drinks look so good on a warm summers day! The staff are super helpful as well, it all makes for a great experience!
