Great atmosphere in this cosy chic venue. Great beer and excellent wine list. Huge focus on local produce, we grazed over several plates. Friendly staff - highly recommend for a place to settle in for a lazy afternoon session with friends.

They were under the pump and we sat for an over an hour before any food arrived. But that’s okay as we weren’t in a hurry. Picked the chefs menu. For the vegetarians in our group we were given vegan. And to have two carrot dishes was not great. Our cocktails were taken away before we’d finished them. The was staff were lovely but really too busy to give good service. Memorable but for the wrong reasons.

Unreal! It’s so great to have such a culinary delight in Barwon Heads. Wife and I opted for the relax menu, where the chef prepared a number of treats for us. Food was plentiful, and most importantly delicious! As BH locals - Tommy Gunns is now our chosen place to go.

Dinner was absolutely delicious!Did the ‘feed me’ option which was very generous & showcased a broad selection from the menu.Service was super friendly & professional. Impressive!Will definitely be back.

Great location on Barwon heads, nice and airy inside or out. Menu has a great selection for sharing, everything we ordered was delicious, and the wine selection was excellent.

Counting myself so lucky to have something of this calibre so close to home. Plus there’s a kids menu! At a French restaurant! I didn’t bring my kid as I wanted to enjoy myself (ha!) but it’s great that they’re catered to. Everything was incredible from the food, to cocktails, service and ambience. A little smaller venue size than I anticipated but that made me love it even more. Looking forward to my next visit and sampling more of that delectable menu.

Unmissable! The most incredible food, beautiful wine, gorgeous venue and amazing staff. Cannot recommend Tommy Gunn highly enough.Premium ingredients handled with sophistication and care, it was a great joy to spend a couple of hours with Rozza and his team. A very special place.Looking forward to our next visit already.Oh, and those anchovies are life changing!!!!

Had a great casual lunch for two - shared the Angus burger, flatbread, cod croquets and pickled squash. Fresh and delicious flavours. Also had a really good local beer selection with a couple on tap. Staff super friendly. Highly recommended.

Food is delicious and well presented, with fresh ingredients. Easy to share with friends. Great variety of food and drinks are great.The vibe is really good as well. Worth a visit if you are anywhere near Barwon Heads.

We had our anniversary dinner here yesterday. Didn’t know what to expect except that there had been a good write up in the Sydney Morning Herald some time ago which had prompted our booking here.Suffice to say it was a lovely way to celebrate the occasion: the Venue was just the right size to be cozy and comfortable, fittings were in keeping with a beachside vibe, understated and stylish. The Food we ordered we thoroughly enjoyed: halloumi was dense and creamy and not squeaky, steak tartare silky and succulent, charred beef served with the just right amount of fat. The star was the pumpkin pie, which rekindled fond memories of our days living in the US when autumn was upon us as it is now. Not too sweet with just the right amount of spice in a light and flaky pastry. The Service was charming and we could see while the restaurant was busy they managed the volume well.Thanks for a lovely meal and experience. Will definitely come back!
