I was floored when I stumbled upon this store when travelling through recently. The size of the store and the range of products was impressive and rivalled anything I've seen in the capital cities.The friendly staff were experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. Great visiting a store without the sense of pressure or smooth sales pitches that are all too familiar these days. The way a music store should be... Well worth a visit!(PS: And loving the pedal steel guitar I bought there too!)

Great variety , very large store . But poor service and quality standards . Drove 2 hours to pick up a guitar from this store and to my own fault ,I didn’t inspect properly before purchase . Loose soldering on the input jack , either a bent neck or something to do with the bridge or pegs because I can’t get 4 notes out of a string before it goes out by at least 1 whole step . Have tried calling multiple times to try and resolve the issue but never get an answer and seeing as I drove 2 hours from home to pick it up it is a big pain in the backside to drive it back another 4 hours to get fixed . All in all the guitar should have been inspected and checked over before selling to a customer , make sure to have anything checked before purchasing from the store if you are not local .

They have a great range of music equipment, their staff are super knowledgeable and their service customer service is second-to-none. Best shop I’ve been into. I have been a musician for 40 years and lived in 3 states. Their shop has a big selection of products, price points, accessories and nic nicks. I’ve never had any other music store go the extra mile for me like these guys do. I’m new to the area and I really appreciate it. Great shop, great customer service. Bass and Blues are an incredibly experienced and helpful team of musicians who are there to set you up with instruments , accessories , technical advice , tuition , replacements and repairs at the right price . I've been a customer for as long as I've been playing [9yrs] and don't bother now to compare prices as they are always competitive and back their warranties. It's great to know they'll go to that extra trouble to satisfy some equipment eccentricity you might have . A great experience . Go see 'em .Hopalong Billy from The Possum Scratchers .

A well stocked store store with knowledgeable staff. A shame some staff members don't wear their masks properly. I don’t feel comfortable spending time in a store when public health orders are not being properly observed. There has been more than one instance of this, I’m sorry to say.

Fantastic ranges of acoustic, electric and bass guitars and amps. Better than I've seen anywhere else in Australia including Melbourne. Classical instruments and drums well catered for as well. Shame I wasn't buying today.Spoke with one chap who was friendly and knowledgeable.No, i don't work for them or know them!

Ordered the last squire jaguar in Australia (not really but close) all the way to Melbourne during lockdown. Staff were super friendly and keen to help me ship it and find prices, even when I changed my order last minute! Products were great, jag came with great strings and not even out of tune. 100% would shop here again :)
